Absolutely Lazy Apathetic Actionless Front Office They Constantly Mess The Every Bit of clerical information! They messed up my prescription so much that CVS was unable to fill the prescription for almost a month! They need to be retrained, they always mess up my pharmacy visit! Maybe it's time for a new front desk staff! Because they do next to nothing for the paying patient! Dr. Maher and his RN staff are the only people of integrity in this office! Do Not Trust The Front Office! They Mess up so much!

I have been seeing Dr. Maher for almost 5 years and he is a wonderful doctor - I would definitely give him 5 stars. However, the answering service and front office staff get 1 star. I've had numerous issues with miscommunication and incorrectly coded procedures causing my insurance not to pay for services. That issue took several phone calls to finally get resolved. Now, there is another issue with faxing over a prescription for a medical device. I was told over three ago it would be ordered. I called the medical equipment place and they have not received the fax. I've left a message with the answering service 3-4 times in the past 3 weeks to find out what is going on. No one from the office has contacted me. There is no way to contact the office directly. It is incredibly frustrating.

Dr. Maher and his staff are awesome. I wouldn't even write this review, for fear of them becoming too crowded and hard to schedule, but I want to contrast the really absurd negative reviews he has received. I also have 100% confidence that he is smart enough to expand his practice if he becomes over-booked, based on the very capable practitioners he has brought on, in the past, to handle excess capacity (PA's and NP's and nurses). I hope that I never have to find another PCP again...

Dr. Mayer is easy to talk to, speaks in plain language, and takes his time to understand what you need. He seems to be very accessible. I like him. His nursing staff is always pleasant. I was prepared to not like him when my beloved Dr. Vaughan retired, but I do like him and will continue to see him.

Eric Maher is an excellent doctor. Very understanding and insightful. His nurses are also fantastic and the reason why I continue to see them at this office. The problem is the reception desk. Dr. Maher shares an office with other doctors, who go through the same reception and call center, which are slow, disconnected and uncaring. They said they have reported this to management but I have yet to see a change, which is frustrating when you seek attentive care.

Receptionist very rude, made me feel very uneasy. Then the bookkeeper cam out who was extreme rude. Claimed she had talked with my medical report, he denied it, claimed they couldn't take my insurance, yet called called me six times the night before, claiming they had just called me twice. I showed them on the phone... six times. So if the bookkeeper new a week before why would they call me for the appointment, the other receptionist claimed she needed to know what paper work, but if she talked o my medical guy and explained to him, should have been self evident. Finally the Dr. Came out and asked me to leave because I was upset. But did sayvI was welcome back. I guess my time is free. Had pay a helped to bring me, spent an hour, drive to and from. I was very disappointed because I know two people whose parents go their, they are delighted with him. This is my opinion only. I have a very creditable background, this again was quite disappointing to be treated like this. I have no choice to put him on my news letter for my charitable organization called Elderly Lives Matter. More concerned with profit, sad.

Dr Maher is an all around great person and doctor who loves what he is doing and always listens to his patients !
I am 62 and he is the best doctor I have ever had !
