Once again the Esperanza on 26th street continues to fail their patients. I was told to come in and my son would be seen right away for us to get here and them make us wait an hour or more. I go up and ask what’s going on because they said my son would be seen right away. Only to be told there’s 3 more patients infront of him when on the phone they said the Dr would see my son right away. The front lady went to go talk to the Dr and he said my son with a high fever that’s only 3 years old has to wait. I would have never came. Do not recommend Dr. Cambell or whatever his name is. Esperanza should be more professional.

I can’t express how grateful I am with the receptionist today. I had to do last minute physical for my daughter to get to school, I was late since I wasn’t very aware of the area. Doctor cancelled and I would have had to wait after school started for next appointment, I was clearly stressed. But the female helping me was so kind, she was looking for other places I could take her to, she called upcoming patients to see if they would make it, but it all seemed useless. At the end when I was about to walk out she reached out to me with another appointment same week. I wish I had asked her name. Either way, I’m very thankful for her help today, she is amazing!

Very disappointed in this clinic, I went in for a problem I needed diagnosed and resolved, I had the appointment via telehealth and got asked for bloodwork, went in the very next day to get it done. Then I scheduled my next appointment and was told I didn't get all the bloodwork necessary. I am a patient, that is not under my control. Went back in the same day they called me to get the poked AGAIN! then I had to wait another 3 weeks for another telehealth for my results. This is ridiculous, I did this back in the beginning of Oct and its now the end of Nov and I still have not been addressed as a patient nor had my other appointment to discuss my results and I even asked for another provider so it could have been sooner, they said no. Also, the front desk receptionist is very rude! I got all my work done at Access, they are a much better clinic and will actually CARE about you as a patient. You're not a walking dollar sign to them

Over 1 hour waiting, even when I had an appointment. Time to look for a different clinic.

I've been coming to this location since I was a little kid and I've been extremely disappointed with how it's been operating for the past few years. It's been one problem after another. After losing my health insurance and months later, I was finally able to get care, I tried to schedule an appointment to get an annual check up at this clinic however, the receptionist said that they only care for women's health and OB services even though, I'm a woman and refused to schedule me a much needed annual check up. Months later, I was finally able to get an appointment with the nurse practitioner Dr. Fran, however, the morning of my appointment, they called to say she would not be in today thus they had to reschedule my appointment. This happened a total of FIVE TIMES. As of recently, I tried getting an appointment for a sick visit, however, the receptionist wouldn't schedule my appointment because I'm considered a "new patient" even though I've been coming to this clinic since I was a kid. They refused to give me any appointments until May 30th and I got so sick from a basic infection that could've been treated my doctor at this clinic, that I had to go to the ER. I finally gave up on getting care in this place. The clinic prides itself in caring those in Little Village however, everyone I know always has issues with staff having attitudes and not cooperating with patients to have care, and overall not having any appointments available for the next month.

My experience with Dr. Julio Pernia-Cuberos was incredibly disappointing, despite his friendly demeanor. He displayed a concerning lack of preparedness and expertise during my consultation. After sending me for blood tests, he provided a terribly inaccurate diagnosis, claiming I was allergic to gluten.

For months, I eliminated gluten from my diet based on his recommendation, only to discover through a gastroenterologist appointment and subsequent endoscopy that my symptoms had nothing to do with gluten allergy. In fact, I am not allergic to gluten at all.

Even before the endoscopy, Dr. Pernia-Cuberos should have realized, based on basic blood test results, that gluten allergy was an unlikely culprit for my symptoms. Nonetheless, I proceeded with the endoscopy to rule out any other potential causes of my discomfort.

While Dr. Pernia-Cuberos may be affable, his lack of competence in accurately diagnosing medical conditions is concerning and led to unnecessary inconvenience and confusion for me as a patient. I cannot recommend his services based on my experience.

My son had a first-time visit at this location because he was sick. The receptionist was very kind and helpful with an insurance issue - which I greatly appreciated. The medical assistant who attended us was also very kind.

We were quickly seen by Dr. Kyla Ababio - she has a very comforting bedside manner and made my son feel at ease, as he was very nervous about being at the Dr's.

Overall, we had a very positive experience & the visit was very quick & efficient. We'll be going back to this clinic for regular check-ups. All the staff members we interacted with were super nice.

I want to say that all the staff in the clinic are great! Everyone seems to work great together! Very professional and the front desk staff did a great job greeting patients with a smile. The front desk were very helpful with our insurance coverage and very nice! The lady in the lab was great and did a wonderful job! what more can I say.... I'm extremely happy and satisfied with the choice I made going to this clinic. Everyone gave my family and myself great quality care! Keep up with the great and wonderful things that you all are doing!
Thank you and Happy holidays to everyone

PS: people who complain about the wait times are probably the same people who wouldn't mind standing outside, in the cold, rain, snow for hours to get the newest IPhone or just to get deals on Black Friday! Wake up people, waiting on a doctor to get you healthy is worth the wait! We invest our time and money on the dumbest things, but fail to invest in ourselves, like healthcare and quality care.
Just saying
