If I can give this doctors office zero stars I would.
I am a younger patient and A little bit less than a year ago I started going here. I suffer from migraines (16 migraines A MONTH) , My body shakes almost daily And I have zero energy. I Started going to a doctor there and she’s very unprofessional. She Basically explained I was too young to be having health issues and my blood work said I was fine so that was that and nothing was wrong with me. I went from doing exercise nonstop for four hours straight to not being able to do it for 30 minutes.
After having issues back-and-forth, I finally found out More or less what I am suffering from with a specialist NOT from this office.
But the worst is the receptionist! She had explained If I made it before a certain time they would assist me And they didn’t! As soon as I arrived, she said that she had never said that And there was no one there to assist. Sure enough again after going back-and-forth magically there was someone there who was able to help me.
Fast-forward to two days ago, I called and asked about a question, She told me I had to contact the Specialist I needed to see so the Specialist can request a referral. The next day I called to Make sure this information was correct and she basically said she never said that and was asking who sent me to the specialist. When I was trying to answer, she kept interrupting me and kept questioning who. When I asked her who I spoke with yesterday, she said she didn’t know but it wasn’t her that told me to tell the specialist to request a referral …. She’s the only receptionist! She was giving an attitude like she did give to me all those months ago And again was calling me a liar.

After that I hung up, super unprofessional. I do not recommend unless you want to have a hard time in knowing what’s wrong with you. That’s the LAST Interaction I will have with this office super low class office

Responding to the owner who replied to my negative review, you are correct I did not attend my appointment because your office staff was very rude to me after a miscommunication about the referral. I do not go to get mistreated at ANY office. Your staff needs to be retrained for customer service. I think it’s very unprofessional you sent a transfer of care letter but it was a little too late, I had already transferred myself out after the experience with YOUR staff. And to yourself instead of trying to get “even” with patients on their google review, you should’ve reached out and hear their point of view instead of trying to cover up for your rude staff.

Wow, i read the reviews on here, and it's true. You can not get a hold of anybody! Called to make a first-time appointment for my mom, and nobody answered. Tried the other options as well to see if anybody answered. Medical records nothing. Prescription refill nothing. Speak to manager nothing. All options lead to voicemail. Unreliable service. Sucks that the unreliable lazy service is taking away from the doctors' pockets $$$. Can not speak on the doctors knowledge, but if this is the kind of people he has as the face front for his office and he doesn't get better staff, it speaks for himself and his service.

Service has surpassed my expectations the the first visit with doctor Idamis was good for someone who is weary about doctors due to high anxiety I can say I’m feeling heard and taken care off. They are very reassuring thank you

Dr. Idania M Hurtado Perez is a pleasure to work with as my doctor. She is the only doctor that I could find in the South Miami area that accepted new patients with no insurance. I was able to schedule an appointment without a long delay too. The office has reasonable price arrangements set up for the uninsured. The office is very clean and attractive. Her staff Is very friendly too.

If you are looking for a doctor in Miami, look no further. Dr. Idania Hurtado is without a doubt one the best general doctor in all Miami-Dade. I am sure that if you decide to go to "Excellent Healthcare", you will be pleased with the attention that Dr. Hurtado provides to her patients, she takes the time to know you, to address all your health concerns, she is a great doctor!

Dr. Hurtado and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and extremely professional! Both doctors take the time to make sure all your questions are answered and are incredibly knowledgeable. Even though going to the doctor is not easy they make the process easy and make you feel comfortable throughout the process. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor and office!

There are so many amazing things I could say about Dr. Hurtado-Perez!

I’ve been living in Miami for 18 years now and I have changed my primary doctor every three years or so because either the bedside manner was horrible or there were long waiting times, or rude staff.

I found Dr. Perez on my insurance’s website and I honestly wasn’t sure if I should make the appointment but it was the closest thing to my house, so I did. When I got to the office there was a very nice receptionist who spoke perfect English and Spanish. I don’t speak much Spanish so it is very frustrating for me sometimes as many of the doctors offices staff in Miami do not speak good English believe it or not. I did not have to wait long for my name to be called. At all of my doctors appointments for the past 18 years I have waited from 45 minutes to 2 hours to be seen. I think I waited 5 to 10 minutes at most. The nurse that checked my vitals etc. was extremely friendly and took her time to get my family history, etc. Then I was taken into the room to be seen by Dr. Hurtado-Perez. I have never felt more comfortable and at home in my life. She was extremely nice and has amazing bedside manner. She took so much time to speak to me about all of my concerns, my family history, she even got to know me on a more personal level. She addressed all of my concerns, and gave me all of my referrals that I needed for the concerns. She also scheduled my annual Pap as she does that as well right in her office. She scheduled for my blood to be taken the following week. Normally your doctor will only call you if there’s a problem with your results but the same day I got my blood taken she scheduled a zoom meeting in two weeks for her to go over my results with me whether they were good or bad. No doctor has ever done that in my 38 years of life! She is truly amazing and I am so glad that I found her. My husband just switched from his primary doctor to her as well, and let me tell you he is very difficult to get him to go to the doctor, so that’s how good she is!
