I've been a patient of Dr. Josh Dunsky for 25+ years. I have had bulging disks, herniations, hospitalizations, sciatic nerve pain, and most recently, a rib that popped out of place. Every time I walk in the door, I am
greeted by a staff member who is sensitive to my situation and let's face it, back pain is painful and exhausting. What I have discovered over all these years as a patient, is that this level of care has made me feel safe when I'm scared and in pain, empowered as I start to heal and incredibly loyal to this practice. Seemed to really know what he was talking about and suggested a $6,000 treatment for my back (after my insurance, without it was $13,000). Kept emphasizing he didn't need the money but just wanted to help me but I needed to answer in 24 hours because it was really severe. I got a second opinion from a spine doctor from Beth Israel, and looked at the same X-rays Dr. Dunsky looked at, and told me everything looked fine and I did not need any treatment.

I have not lost faith in all chiropractors but now believe that Dr. Dunsky is more interested in your money than your rehabilitation and will scare you into using your money.

Walked in with a lower back pain that I had for 6-7 years, and the pain started to worsened at work. Found out I had Degenerative Disk Disease. With 3 month of rehab with Dr. Dunsky, I feel 85-90% better. Being an airline pilot, before just a 30 minutes flight, I was in so much pain, and was no good position during the flight. Now, I can fly 2-3 hours, and not being uncomfortable in my seat.

I was referred here by a close family friend who was going through the same back pain I've been dealing with for the past few years and after about 5 different doctors and 3 years I was basically at the point where I thought I was going have to learn to just live with the agonizing pain because I wasn't getting any answers. So I decided to try this one last option and im very grateful that i did because after just a month of getting adjustments and using Dr. Dunskys state of the art equipment im starting to feel better than I have in years. I would suggest giving this non invasive practice a shot because it could change your life.

I normally do not write reviews but I felt compelled to write this review because of the miraculous results that I have received while in the care of Dr. Dunsky and his team. I was diagnosed with a bulging disk in 1998. I've been to many doctors who told me that I needed epidural injections to relieve the pain so I listened to my doctor at the time because I was in so much agonizing pain. I have had a total of at least 15 epidural injections from 1999 to 2014 maybe more and the injections worked well for me for about 15 years to the extent I was back playing recreational basketball and doing competitive running. The pain would come and go throughout those years and I would simply get another epidural injection and I would be back resuming my rigorous activities. My neurosurgeon told me the epidural shots would eventually be ineffective and possibly erode my disk if I continue to receive the injections. However I was young in my early mid 20s and very athletic so I didn't think much of the side effects at the time. Luckily I did not encounter any of the ill side effects of the epidural injections. In 2014 I had my last epidural injection and it did not work for me, the injection lasted about a month and I was back in pain once again. Therefore I thought to myself Im at a point that these epidural injections do not work anymore. I was in nursing school at the time and I could not stand for long periods of time while doing my practicum at the designated hospital. It got so bad that my instructor told me that I needed to be cleared in order to finish. He did not clear me and suggested that I see a neurosurgeon. I contacted the pain clinic and a neurosurgeon advised me to consider surgery and I was committed to his advice however I told him that I wanted to see a physical therapist before the surgery. While in excruciating pain living in Framingham I tried to find the closet physical therapist nearby before my surgery. I searched through the internet and I stumbled on Dr. Dunsky website thinking that he was a physical therapist. I contacted his office met him and he discussed his program and I was really a skeptic considering all the pain that I have been through over the years. I was thinking to myself he just wants to get some money from me or whatever because Im an instant skeptic of all doctors no offense to the practice.. My pain wasn't getting any better and I didn't really think a physical therapist could help I was just hoping for a miracle before going under the knife. So I put my trust in Dr. Dunsky and he told me about the program and the cost that my insurance did not cover. He directed me to an alternative health care credit card that sufficed to cover the program and it was literally the best investments that I made in my life. I did the program for about a year and I was literally back on track, in no pain , playing recreational basketball, and doing competitive running once again. Currently I go see him for minor adjustments once a month with his fancy machines and i still do competitive running and play recreational basketball. I suggest if you have had my experience dealing with a condition like mine and you are on the fence of deciding what to do you will not be disappointed with his services the he offers.
