It was my first visit to Urgent care , for some reason I was always afraid to go there, thinking of long lines and not enough attention to patients. I always preferred to go to family doctor. Now I am really happy that I found this location ( should I keep it a secret though:)) there were no line , modern facilities, everyone was friendly and attentive and my doctor Sandra Ovadia was outstanding !!! I hope I won’t be sick, but if I will- I will go there! Thank you for great business

Dr. Ovadia was incredible. She was patient with all my concerns and questions, and most importantly- she got to the real root cause of all of my issues and got me the care I urgently needed.

Thank you to her and to the clinic staff. Haven't felt that taken care of in a medical facility in a long time.

I had an excellent experience at Exer Urgent Care, the best urgent care experience I’ve had so far. The office was clean and spacious and there was no wait on a Sunday morning. Dr Nery took my condition seriously and validated my concerns. I knew something was wrong and I am happy she was my doctor. All of the staff were very friendly and helped me feel comfortable.

I had one of my worst health care visits ever in my life, and worst treatment ever by a provider. The NP there Odessa Hernandez failed to give me the results for the three tests she conducted, walked in and told me that I’m going to say it’s upper respiratory infection. Your RX is sent, it’ll be ready in 30 mins. I told her can I wait here until it’s ready and then leave as I was having chills and sick from fever and cold and cough, headache. She said no, you can just go and it should be ready in 30 mins. I then told her I’ll check and see if the pharmacy has drugs in stock so she said you can check with the MA since I told her it’s a small private pharmacy. I found out that pharmacy was closed so I switched to a CVS as I was leaving and the NP heard me doing that. I left there, around 2:15PM, and got to the CVS pharmacy and then called around 2:59 because the RX wasn’t received. I was told by the registrar that since I made the change it takes time, but the NP will send it right now. I then called at 3:38 and was told by Alissia that the NP is busy but she just sent it 10 mins ago. I then called again at 3:50 and then Alissia answered again and said the NP is busy seeing other patients so you have to be patient, that’s when I said it doesn’t matter because you already saw me, I’m sick with fever and chills, and you have had me waiting for the RX for over an hour. I then asked to speak to the provider, which is when Hernandez got on and said I hear you have attitude with my MA mister. I said yes, that’s absolutely correct, you‘be had me waiting, and then before I could say anything else she started speaking over me, and threatened me, “do you realize that no one else can do my job, I have patients to use, since you have attitude, I’m going to revert the RX and you can figure it out” I then said I have no problem calling the medical board, and then she said, “go ahead do it, you won’t be the first one, and I’ll tell my board you threatened me” Then she hung up on me. Needless to say, 2/3 RX weren’t filled because she needed to do my PA, I waited for over an hour, in chills, fever, cough, cold, headache, and difficulty breathing and she gave me nasty, unprofessional, and classless attitude and treatment, when I was a paid patient. She then threatened to recall my prescriptions. I am demanding a strict disciplinary action on this. I’ll also be reaching out to the Board of Nurse Practitioners. I also need a call back from a regional manager of Exer Hollywood Willoughby, that oversees this clinic. Thank you!

The receptionist tried her best to deny me a physical and didn’t offer me the same options as the other Exer that’s a couple blocks away. It seems from the reviews here that others also have the same problems with reception. I guess Exer doesn’t want to make money. They’d rather treat me like a fraud than use critical thinking skills and help me with a valid government health certification. Go elsewhere if you want to be taken seriously!

Every experience of urgent care is different, and today I had to try three before finally getting treatment: The first (which I already reviewed negatively, on Robertson) was unprofessional in that no-one showed up at the appointed opening time, leaving five of us ill and stranded outside. I left, called another EXER (Sunset) which wouldn’t open because the doctor was late and they couldn’t tell me when they’d actually be available.

This third EXER on LaBrea was golden: waited 30 minutes, saw a great friendly sympathetic doctor, treated kindly by all, prescriptions called in promptly. Highly recommend and even though they’re out of the way for me I TRUST them to do what they promise and they’ve earned my loyalty.

Thank you, staff of EXER Hollywood, I’m finally on the mend.

I selected this Urgent Care because I saw it was new. It's totally a Hollywood vibe, you would expect near West Hollywood. It's super clean with very friendly staff from the beginning with Luis the greeter through Dr. Spurlock M.D. I arrived at 8pm and left at 8:47pm with a Doctor's Note "Work Related Activities and Limitations" for work. Even though I have two health insurances, they still wanted a credit card on file. 🤷🏽‍♂️fyi
