Most (not all )The staff was immature, had snotty attitudes, awfully rude AND was mocking patients or even acting strangly harsh Towards patients; They treated patients with little human decency and care while also screaming at patients due to having little patience . Honestly you could tell 94% of those staff didn't care about what the patients need honestly it was the worst experience ever. They should consider being more thoughtful on people who actually need help or those with special needs. Instead of helping you all they do is throw you in a chair and expect you to shut up because "you put urself here." So please don't send a loved one here because it's awful while also unhelpful.

If you love your children DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. It is horrible the nurses are rude and avoidant, it is very unsanitary, all basic rights you have are striped from you, please reconsider another hospital or crisis center this place isn’t good for any type of mental health help, there isn’t help just sitting and waiting for the doctor who often decides a longer wait. Please take my warning it isn’t a good healing center. I was man handled and I have bruising from it

Sorry excuse for a place for someone to go ask for help. I didn't want the person I know to go there. They were supposed to be sent to Clovis Community to wait for a bed to open up at Community behavioral and ended up at Exodus. Exodus is a joke. Putting bandaids on bullet holes (metaphorically speaking of course).
Should be closed they never do anything anyway.

My female friend was admitted recently. She was scared after reading the reviews. She said it wasn't clean. Her mother said the staff was rude. I understand it's hard to have cleaners around suicidal people. I understand that you don't want parents and people disturbing patients more. She was forced to get naked (with men nearby probably security) (change into scrubs) to check for signs of self harm and to make sure she wasn't smuggling stuff in and I understand that but she is a sexual abuse survivor. She was touched inappropriately by doctors in the past and I hope this won't scar her further. I get why it's done and appreciate that they kept her safe when she was in a bad state. Thank you.

Worst first time experience ever!

The security in the evening shift today was extremely unprofessional and rude!
I was outraged by his ignorance and mannerisms!
They need to be educated on mental illness if they want to work in facilities that are dealt with challenging patients.

I’m apart of the Behavioral Health Board here in Fresno, and as my first time entering this location, I was livid by the security behavior.

I’ll definitely bring this attention up to the Behavioral Health board to see what we can do about this secruity behavior specifically.

Also reading all these reviews seems to match up with the staffing’s ability to care for our unfortunate community.

A nightmare. The staff was extremely rude with zero compassion. My wife ,with a mental condition,, got lost on the fax bus. missing four days she was taken to the Exodus the officers called me to inform me because I had a missing persons report on her. They wouldn't tell me anything but said they'd call me when they released her but they released her the next day without even calling me and now she's still lost for 2 weeks now two and a half weeks. Shut it down now!.

Was going through some family trauma and decided a night here away from it would be good for my mental health. One whole week later and they only just allow for my release after threatening daily if I didn't engage in basketball, watching TV, etc, with the others I would be sent to San Diego w/o any input from me or my family. The psych evaluator was invalidating and barely listened, then didn't show on the days he was suppose to clear me to leave. I felt like a prisoner. I had to fake smile my way out of there. It was safer out of exodus than in it.
OH. OHMYGODS. and nurses drew my blood in the middle of the night telling me it would get me out sooner. They jabbed me 3 times before the nurse gave up and said to leave. I completely fainted on the tile walking out and when I came to the two nurses were laughing at me. Laughing.
Please don't send your children or loved ones here. I left with more trauma than I arrived with.

I was admitted sometime last year & I can say it was the WORST experience of my life. The staff treats patience horribly ignores their needs!
I watched a staff member laugh at a patient who was obviously having a bipolar episode because she was stained with period blood. I remember his exact words were “ewww get away from me”
I obviously needed help clearly but discharged me anyway. One of the nurses was clearly talking about me on the phone in Spanish but had no idea I understood what she was saying. I saw a patient being dragged to the “solitary room” while they forced medication down her throat. The security here is so disrespectful/rude. And hygiene in this place is the worst they will clean anything, taking a shower while there’s used towels from other patients in bathroom.
