Our family has been visiting the clinic for many years. The lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly, and the Dr. Sun was always professional and helpful providing in time medical care.

I had an ear infection in my left ear that caused me severe pain. I chose to visit this urgent care first thing. When I got there, doctor prescribed eye drops for an ear infection, because apparently it's cheaper and would still work.
I was told I would feel better in 3 days or so. The wait was so short and the front desk staff was so nice that I was under the impression that I was dealing a knowledgeable doctor, so tried the eye drops. 3 days later not only did my pain get worse, I also lost hearing in the infected ear. When I went to a hospital with a different doctor I was told that the eye drops prescribed by Dr. Chao Sun caused hearing loss by creating a fluid buildup that completely blocked my ear canal.
I paid $179 for a doctors visit just to be prescribed the wrong medicine, suffer even more, and waste my money. Again, there's nice staff and a short wait, but other urgent care facilities also have that. I will never return to this urgent care, and I suggest you don't waste your time or money like I did.

I was referred to dr. Chao Sun, by workers compensation. I had one of the worst experiences ever visiting this doctor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR’s OFFICE! I departed feeling confused and personally and emotionally violated. At the beginning of my appointment he mumbled out that he didn't think he would be able to help me. I didn't understand so I continued with the appointment. This so called doctor taunted me, he was disrespectful, and he left the exam door open for my entire appointment, and other patients heard EVERYTHING! He had the audacity to tell me that he didn't believe that I hit my head when I fell at work, he said that it was very unlikely, so he was basically calling me a liar. Even though I've previously been diagnosed with a concussion, he said that I didn't have a concussion because I hadn't Loss consciousness or because my head wasn't busted open. He then asked me to explain how my injury was affecting me and what do I consider to be proper medical care? As I was explaining to him, he said that I was talking "fancy", but that doesn't mean anything. So it seemed that he was biased towards me speaking proper English. He's very argumentative and he speaks broken English, yet I don't believe he comprehends it very well, and this is why he accused me of speaking "fancy ". This doctor then started to discuss politics with me... he started saying that America was a free country, and I'm not sure why he was saying that to me, as this country has nothing to do with my injury. I felt that his evaluation of my health and injury was based on his political views and opinion of my physical appearance, instead of the actual injury. This so called doctor began to assess my injury as if we were in court. At the end of my appointment he said that he couldn't make a decision and that I needed to be referred to pain management. His conduct caused me to feel very offended—I am appalled in the way that this man spoke to me, and for him to refer to my usage of proper English as “fancy” seemed to be a racist remark to me. I’m left wondering… how am I supposed to speak? Or how did he expect for me to speak? I’m not Chinese.

I am a Chinese from China. I can tell Doctor sun is not a typical nowadays Chinese. His moral level is like the worst dealer in this country. In his eye, money money money. He abuses America's law system for Money without any ethic

Anyway. I went to the milpitas office. Doctor sun is there with a patient. No front desk. While I was waiting, I can hear every single word he is talking with that patient because they have the room door open. It is so unprofessional. I now know the secrete of that patient even though I do not know her name. If I am not for immigration health check and rudely pick his office on website, I can not think about any reason people come to him for seeking doctors. In China, doctor like him is described as a江湖庸医

Most important problem is his worst service for immigration health check. He can never explain things clearly so that he can confuse u and charge u. I realized at the moment and took back all the document. He charged so much more than other doctors. I asked for refund of $160 because he did not do anything other than explain me confused process. He refused and threat me to call police. I do please him to call police so that my money can be refunded.

The problem is Dr. Chao Sun requests patients to call their office for each and every refills. When my pharmacy contacts Dr. Chao Sun's office, my pharmacy never get response. Have your pharmacy to initiate refill order will not work with this doctor office. You have to call the doctor by yourself and let the doctor office initiate the refill. I will update on how smooth this process work later.

Update: The staffs are great. They work with me on straightening out the communications regarding prescription refill orders over the past 6 months. The order placement communication between the pharmacy (AllianceRX Walgreens) and doctor office has been not very reliable due to the system in place. With the helps from Dr. Sun's office, we finally figured out the best way to overcome the problems caused by the less than perfect system.

Wish I can give them 0 star. They charge waaaay more than others for immigration physical exam, and I have to re-do the exam because Dr. Sun didn’t sign the form correctly. So irresponsible and unprofessional!
