Facey medical group is the best! Dr. Hekmatjou is the utmost outstanding doctor I've ever had! Been seeing him for years and he truly cares for his patients! He will go above and beyond for your health. I like in Bakersfield and refuse to change my doctor because of how well he has taken care of me for so long! Staff is wonderful there, they respond and get back to you asap and they work all hard! Thank you for I appreciate you all! Would highly recommend this facility

This was my first visit to Dr. Chin-Han Lee and I was truly impressed. He is one of the most caring and attentive doctors I’ve ever met. Before prescribing any medications, he takes the time to thoroughly review your medical history, orders necessary blood work and tests, and even considers results from tests done years ago.
Dr. Chin- Han Lee truly listens to your concerns and provides thoughtful, well-informed medical advice. He is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly committed to making the best decisions for his patients’ health.

We have been with our doctor at Facey Medical Group in Burbank for well over a decade and we could not be happier.

Our doctor is top-notch and incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and insightful. We currently live almost an hour away and we still make the drive to this location because we love our doctor.

I had a chronic physical condition causing me physical distress that I was seeing a PCP for, and when I tried to tell my PCP about how terribly I was feeling while having to wait almost a month for an appointment, the doctor (Dr. Heap) tried to tell me that it was all just my anxiety and tried to prescribe me an antipsychotic medication. FYI, antipsychotics have serious side effects, including shortening a person's life span. I not only felt dismissed and insulted, but I felt this was totally negligent behavior on top of being completely sexist (dismissing my discomfort as just being my anxiety and overprescribing medication as a result).

I never went back to Dr. Heap, and she retired soon after so I never got to file a formal complaint. I continued to go to Facey because I live in Burbank and it was convenient. However, the others doctors and NPs that were after were equally unhelpful, and I often found them to be condescending in their care, including Dr. Shirvanian and NP Licauco.

The medical staff would often give me the same unhelpful recommendations even after telling them if something didn't work. They treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about even though I was the one experiencing the symptoms. I ended up seeking the help of specialists at Cedars after my experience at Facey, even though it is almost an hour drive to their office. When I got to Cedars, they tested me and found I was resistant to the medication that Facey had been giving me-- the same medicine I had been saying wasn't working for 1+ years, and which I had suggested that I might be resistant to since the beginning of treatment.

I will say Nicholas, who is a phlebotomist here, is phenomenal and always had good experiences with him. But overall, I felt I wasted my time with Facey and was very disappointed with my experiences overall.

I am new to Facey. I found doctors Lowe, Dao, and urgent care physician, Loren Lashan, immensely helpful, attentive and highly professional.

My only criticism concerns the Pharmacy Department that has issues with following through with inquiries. I have since decided to circumvent the pharmacy team and leave messages instead, for my PCP, though ideally, the pharmacy department should be addressing all pharmacy related matters submitted to them for response.

I love my regular doctor. Though these last two sick visits, he was not available. First sick visit, no one gave me any tests and told me to call back in a week if I didn’t feel better. Second visit I had the NP and she finally gave me both a strep test and Covid. Turns out, I had strep. I was sick for three and a half weeks. Thought I was dying 😂
