Very professional staff, FAA medical examiner that provides excellent service and helpful tips. My optometrist was recommending a certain cataract surgery. After asking around and then getting input from Dr. Coen I was able to make an informed decision that is best for flying. I highly recommended Dr. Coen for FAA medical exams. My family has also used Fallbrook Urgent Care for medical needs for more than 10 years and they have always exceeded our expectations.

Dr Cohen is a really pleasant doctor to go to, especially in an urgent situation. He's very relaxed and nonjudgmental. I came once last summer and went again today and got the same awesome vibes. I brought my kids today while I had to get stitches and there was no problem. The ladies at the front desk are also super nice. The woman in charge of billing is not one you want to deal with, but let's hope you never do!

I've been seeing Dr. Cohen for urgent care for several years now. He is a down-to-earth, no-nonsense doctor. I very much appreciate his friendly style and feel totally safe and comfortable in his care. He seems to focus on coming up with the simplest, most cost-effective solution to any medical problem. Dr. Cohen reminds me of the time when your doctor was also your neighbor. If you need urgent care, call for an appointment - then you don't have to wait longer in the office - I've never had any problem getting an appointment for that day.

Absolutely an A+ Urgent Care facility. I went in on a Friday afternoon with an urgent care need, my doctor could not fit me in that day. I was taken care of immediately by a very friendly and efficient staff. I was seen within 10 minutes by Dr. Coen and liked him very, very much. He is exactly what the others say “next door neighbor doctor”, “down to earth, no nonsense doctor”, “comfortable and safe”. I described him to my husband as a “sweet country doctor type”. I felt very well taken care of here and would not hesitate to go in again and again. The office was very clean and orderly, which made me feel comfortable there. Fallbrook is fortunate to have a physician of Dr. Coen’s caliber. He is kind and level-headed. I have been seeing him for approximately 13 years. If an issue is urgent, his instincts, knowledge, and experience are invaluable. If it is a non-urgent issue, he listens, then takes time to consider a solution. He will research an issue if it is necessary. Dr. Coen’s staff members are efficient and friendly. It is a comfort to know that this high level of health care is available in Fallbrook.

If you do not have health insurance, do not give this place your money. They will take your money ($125) to be seen for 5 minutes and then told to come back if your issue still looks/feels bad and then take action. Is this establishment a money hungry shark that cares more about taking peoples money rather than giving them the care they need?

My partner and I have come here on two separate occasions for severe infections after trying everything we could from home (mine, a very infected ingrown toenail, and his an abscess the size of an orange). During each of our experiences, we were seen for 5 minutes and then told to come back in a few days for him to drain the infected wounds, despite us desperately expressing our pain and that we cannot afford to keep returning, having already spent $125 to be seen.

Both my partner and I have separately had to go into the ER for our ailments the evening after being seen by Fallbrook Urgent Care, and each of us were met with responses stating the severity of our infections should’ve been drained and cleaned days prior, if not by the doctor at Urgent care.

They informed us it is unfortunately not surprising an urgent care would take our cash, do minimal care, and tell us to come back so they can get more cash, rather than dealing with insurance like most patients. The hospital also helped get the both of us set up with “Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (PE) Response” which quickly gave us Medi-Cal coverage so we weren’t seen uninsured.

This is sad and inhumane. We will no longer return to our local urgent care, and instead travel to a place that is compassionate and prefers treating an issue rather than seeing how much they can get out of a person.

Dr. Cohen's office is a real gem and the pride of Fallbrook. Many urgent-care offices make you feel like you are a widget on an assembly line. Dr. Cohen takes his time and has a genuine interest in your care and well-being. His diagnosis and recommendations have always been spot on for me and I recommend his friendly office without hesitation.
