Really great doctors and staff! They stay up to date with the latest treatments: Dr. Kumar is absolutely wonderful interactions and helps educate me on the treatments we're doing and why the approach. The staff is super friendly (and they even get me a cup of coffee while waiting!)!

My friend was having issues with previous her allergist and treatments were ineffective, and says it's a world of difference (much better) now that she's at Redwood City Family Asthma & Allergy Center!

Fantastic clinic! In the two years since I started with them everything from the initial consultation to recurring allergy shot visits has gone like clockwork.

The treatment has worked better than I expected and their charges are always reasonable. Dr. Tarun Kumar is thorough and kind, the office staff are prompt, courteous, and always in a good mood. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes after arrival to be seen. Overall, this is a perfect example of how a healthcare practice should be run.

I've referred several people since I started there myself. If you are considering allergy treatments, don't think twice about visiting the Family Asthma & Allergy Center. As a bonus, the store down the street has amazing elotes! 🙂

I am so impressed with the care that I have received at Family Asthma and Allergy Center! I have suffered from seasonal allergies, food allergies, and eczema my whole life. I never truly understood the interconnection of all of these diseases until being seen at FAAC. They really spent the extra time to counsel and teach me on my conditions. I have gone to numerous dermatologists who always prescribed me a steroid cream and told me to stay away from fragrances for my eczema. I did not even know my seasonal allergies could be causing it! At FAAC they did the gold standard allergy skin testing on me and I was able to learn of all the different inhalants I was allergic to. I have also been taught how to better care for my skin. They also promptly completed prior authorizations for safer topical medications than the steroids I had been using on my face for years. I am now excited to say that I will be starting allergy shots at FAAC which will CURE my seasonal allergies and can help my eczema! I also recently completed office food challenges to tree nuts which I am now able to add into my diet after a lifetime of avoidance.

Everyone at the Family Asthma and Allergy Center truly treats you like family. If you want to better understand your chronic conditions and get REAL help, don’t hesitate to make an appointment at FAAC. Dr. Kumar and Melissa (PA) are amazing providers that deeply care for their patients. I wish more providers were like them!

We appreciated the family asthma and allergy center very much. We were anxious to look for an asthma test for my son. I called many clinics in the bay area and they cannot do this kind of test or they don't have appointment slot for him. FAAC replied us very quickly and they understood our urgency. Best asthma & allergy center in the Bay Area, hands down. I have severe allergies and chronic asthma that interferes with my day to day life especially during flare ups. I was in a pretty bad shape when I went to them. Dr. T. Kumar is Godsent. Highly experienced doctor who truly cares. He listens and also holds his patients accountable. Within 2 weeks, he was able to get me back to the baseline. I am under his treatment and feeling like a new person.
