I recently had a heart attack and was going to this doctor's office for the first time. The day of my appointment I was not doing very well which put me behind schedule. So, I called the doctor's office and told them I was struggling and would be late. The girl on the phone had asked for me to just have my paperwork filled out before I got there and it would not be a problem. I got an Uber and did the paperwork. The Uber driver then drops me off at the wrong address and leaves. I call the doctor back and tell them what's going on and the girl on the phone says they are right behind Walgreens in a white building. I ordered another Uber and was dropped off right behind Walgreens. There was no white building there. So I called the doctor again and the girl said they were not behind Walgreens. Now frustrated I decided to look up the address and the office was further down the road and it was a red brick building. Explaining all this to the girl at the doctor's office and explaining that it was an emergency and that I saw the doctor today, the response I got was oh well the doctor will not be able to see you today. I explained that I was out of my blood thinners and the medications the hospital put me on for the heart attack were not right that they were causing problems and the girl just did not care at all. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor's office in my life. I selected this doctor because of all the good things I heard and the staff treated me like crap. I can't help that Uber took me to the wrong location or that the girl at the office doesn't know the difference between red brick and white. But now I'm out of my medication that helps keep me alive and on other medications causing me health problems. Thanks a lot.

The two stars that I give them is because of the doctors and nurses. The front desk favorite sentence: can you please hold? Can you please hold? And it takes 15 min each time on the waiting. Today for example I call to make an appt 15min, then I have to cancel it 15min, the phone call was ends "by accident" and then 15min more. Even when I call seconds later. The customer service of the receptionists are the worst. Only because there's no more places good enough to take the family on sierra vista for doctors appointments or definitely I would change. But lucky for them, I have no more options!
So to reschedule the appointment just took 5 min on the waiting 30- 45 min....

I have been going to Family Health Center for about five years. Unfortunately, I will be moving my family to another facility. A staff member by the name of Melanie was very inappropriate. She talked to my wife in an unprofessional manner in front of our child. As a Veteran, my family has always been treated with the utmost respect at this place. After reading reviews, we are clearly not the first to experience this type of behavior. Don’t be the next.

Family Health Center is severely lacking with their front desk and billing department. Unorganized. Unprofessional. Disrespectful and bad mannered.

Despite whatever situation each patient has there, the way I was just treated by Melanie in the billing department was appalling.

Melanie needs to learn how to properly address people.
She verbally attacked me and belittled me, but not only in front of my sick child who was standing there but in front of everyone at the doctor’s office.
She was extremely aggressive towards me for NO REASON.
There is no reason to ever behave or act the way you did towards me.
I was politely asking a question to the woman at the front desk where I was paying my copay for todays visit and when she could not provide the information I was inquiring of, Melanie from Billing, came out of her office and immediately started attacking me.
It was very unprofessional.

For future encounters, Melanie should probably pull people into her office when talking about matters such as these.
And another thing, if I had any ill intentions, don’t you think I would not return to Family Health Center?

let alone bring up the matter and then ask the front desk about my other child’s file there? ?

Shame on YOU for how you treated me as a person today.
Shame on YOU for the amount of disrespect you showed today.
Shame on YOU for lacking professionalism.
And
Shame on YOU for letting your anger get the best of you, Melanie.

Family Health Center, you can do better with the staffing at the front desk department and billing department.

However, Dr. LeSueur, we will miss you and all the nurses who were always so kind to us and our children. But due to this matter that took place, we will not be returning after today’s episode by the staffing there.

Our family is a military family stationed overseas. We like many military families scheduled an appointment here due to being stateside. The front desk receptionist was extremely rude at both check in experiences. Our two children had different appointments in one day. She also tried to say we were late when my husband wrote the appointment time instead of arrival time. She did not apologize and showed very poor customer service. She should not work in customer service. She is very disrespectful. It was a highly disappointing experience. If we were living in this area we would not go to the doctors office here.

They have that new policy where if they can't bill your insurance then you have to pay upfront which is fine but my fiance went and they let him go to his appointment and then when he got out the accountant lady yelled at him because he thought it was going to be $35 which is what it was last time his insurance messed up and he didn't have $150 to pay right then. Maybe if you want people to know the amount be more clean about it. Keeping someone hostage and not allowing them to leave instead of helping create a solution to an already distraught man is wrong. Do better.

A few years ago I had to find a new primary doctor after 20+ years when my doctor retired.
I am known for having crazy health issues that are hard to diagnose and manage.
I also needed a dr that could really listen and help me.
I am so happy to have landed at Family Health!!
Everyone there is compassionate, helpful and truly CARES about their patients.

My 2 year old has had covid for a week . I’ve spent a week begging them to see him so he can get some medication. They finally told us to come in at a certain time . They had us waiting outside for 45 mins ! We all have covid and I couldn’t handle it anymore . These doctors do not care that my son is not doing well - they told me to go to the ER … of course I would if he needs that but why wouldn’t you make room for him ? The staff are rude and obnoxious. I will say , some of the doctors are amazing but Jason was a nurse at the ER . He was the rudest one there and almost killed my father by his negligence. He is a bully.

Back to the top tho - these ppl are horrible and they really don’t care who is sick - it’s all about the money
