Personable and friendly staff; they reflect well upon Dr. Grant who is a true people person. UPDATE...When I first visited the staff took my payment on the sidewalk due to the Covid-19 regulations; I was told a receipt would be mailed. Yesterday I phoned and left a message; no call back. Called today (7/30/20) lady acted like it was my fault said it had been so long she'd ask billing to fax me a receipt. Still believe medical/dental staff are 100% great. Front desk people are not as efficient or personable. Get your receipt before you leave if you need one for Social Security or other reasons.

First, couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone so I could make an appointment so I had to walk in. I was told I couldn’t be seen til the next day. So I set an appointment up for 9 am for the following day. I was 30 minutes early for my appointment. It took an hour after my scheduled time to get a room. Now it’s been 45 minutes in the room. I could see having to wait an excessive amount of time if I was a walk-in. But I was scheduled.

The nurse practitioner was really nice and thorough though.

Have been trying to get wic changed cause my son is allergic to the milk they had him on since Friday. Friday they closed early Monday the system was down and since it's the last Tuesday of the month I can't go in the afternoon and no one is answering the phone when I was told to call to see if the system would be up. I have been calling since 8am and still no answer. With all the people who need job you figure the ones that have one there would simply answer the phone. My son is pooping blood and can't seem to get him changed over. I have 6 cans of formula I can't even use.

It was time to get my Birth Control shot and I've called for two hours straight and they never answered the phone. I even left voicemails and still never got a call back. So I eventually went to the Family Health on Spring Hill Rd. Right beside Women & Children's Hospital and they are so much better . I only had to call them once for them to answer and they got me in that day. I didn't have to wait a long time with them either . So for now on, imma go to the one by Woman's & Childrens .

Unfortunately the doctor here is a liar. I wouldnt have written this review if the doctor would have just been honest. I recently moved to mobile and needed to get my prescriptions filled. I have my bottles and decades of medical history/paperwork to back it up. I called to make the would fill them. Unfortunately for the doctor they didnt know i am fully aware of Alabama law regarding my medication and Ive recently lived in Alabama. The laws have not changed. I was told my 1st medication (an analgesic like tylenol) would have to come from a pain center, this is a lie! I was told my 2nd medication would have to come from a psychiatrist, this is a lie! Both can and have (in the last several months) been prescribed by a regular family practioner. I understand if you just want to say no, thats fine. Just dont lie and try to trick people to make your point. This is a testament to putting themselves before patients.

After moving from Arizona, already apart of the WIC program and only needing to transfer information from the AZ clinic to this clinic to continue services, I called this office 3 times in a single week having to leave a voicemail each time, never having my call returned. Finally, I went to clinic in person with my 2 month old son, at which I noticed it was not nearly as crowded or busy as my former clinic & I was unfortunately rudely told to fill out a release form and told to include the fax number to the AZ clinic, and that they would fax that form to the AZ clinic and give me a call once they received a fax back and the lady behind the counter took my WIC folder and my upcoming WIC checks. A week went by and I hadn't received a call. So I called the office 3 again, in a single day and again no one answered either lines. So before going to this particular clinic again I called my former clinic in Arizona (to which I was helped in a matter of minutes) to see if they had received a fax from this clinic at all in the last week. They informed me that they had not received a fax, & were very understanding of the urgency of providing formula to my 2 month old son and offered to fax over my information to this clinic immediately, so I went over to the clinic AGAIN, in person, to get the fax number of the Theodore clinic to give to the Arizona clinic so this extremely easy matter could be resolved quickly. When I entered the Theodore clinic for the second time, I was holding my son in his car seat & on the phone with the Arizona clinic who was simply waiting for the Theodore clinics fax number, the woman at the door rudely stopped me and told me they closed at 4 and I replied with oh I'm sorry, I didn't know that, your website says you close at 6 and I've been trying to call this clinic for days and no one has answered or returned my call, I'm on the phone with the Arizona clinic and all they need is the fax number to this clinic, another woman said I could come back tomorrow, and the woman who stopped me at the front door, never responded to me, she only stood there and stared me down making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I asked the other woman if I could please just have a card with the clinics info or the fax number real quick since I'm already on the phone with the AZ clinic. She wrote the fax number on a brochure, & I thanked her, & left. The woman on the phone from the Arizona clinic heard everything and said if I'm not getting proper help that I can report it. As I was walking away to my car The woman at the door stared me down the entire time. WIC has always been a wonderful program for women and children and it's always been a supportive and pleasant experience until I moved to Theodore Alabama, & have not been properly helped or treated nicely & I basically did their job for them this last week having to contact the other clinic myself to get the ball rolling. I can't imagine running such a supposed prestigious clinic like that. It's deeply disturbing.

After moving from Tennessee I had to change my children's shot records over to certified Alabama records for school. 2 days later and they still haven't completed something so simple. I had Tennessee shot records in hand. My children are missing school. Totally unacceptable.

If you call early morning for an appointment you have to hold the line and wait for a receptionist to come, but somehow I always get hung up on after waiting for so many minutes to try talk to someone ughhhh... Also it's hard to get anyone on the phone such as nurses station I always end up making a trip to the office just to find out my concerns or needs!!
