I felt very uncomfortable whenever I went there. The seem to try to get you in over and over as though trying to get the extra money. After going to a new doctor I see the ones ruling the roost at Family Medical just care about money. There really was never any level of comfort. Its also somewhat odd to have medicine and the church mixed together. I just won't ever go back and I'm so lucky to have found an office that makes you feel more welcome rather than going to the principals office getting ready to be yelled at or hit with a ruler. I wish them well and thank them for the time.

A- probably the rudest front desk I’ve ever had to deal with
B- I was prescribed anxiety/depression medications by the doctors there only to put a bandaid on my issues. They do not care about your opinion or how you feel and will continually just push drugs onto you.

If you are wanting to find the root of your problems I do not recommend going here.

I’ve had great experiences with dr Torquato. It’s been a moment since I’ve been in but dr Torquato always takes time to listen, educate and help you with any issues. I’ll definitely be returning for another appointment.

Love the automated reminders for my upcoming appointment. I was able to update all of my health information, supplements I’m currently taking, etc on my Patient Portal prior to my appointment , saving doctors time during my visit. I was greeted friendly and professionally in a clean pleasant office, loved the fresh flowers 💐. Doctor Torquato was on time and as always a joy to meet with. His genuine, sincere concern for mine and my family’s health and wellbeing is always very appreciated. Dr. Torquato covers my annual wellness exams very thoroughly, making sure I follow up with the necessary scans and labs, because preventative care is his goal as well as mine.

update: Wish I could give zero stars. I feel like I'm in a nightmare after going to family medical care. Dr Torquato put me on a benzo and I did not understand the drug I was taking. After only being on it a few weeks I developed a dependence (very common for this type of drug)
I'm now dealing with weeks of insomnia, panic attacks, depression, and a trip to the ER. I feel like he broke me. I was fine before going there, other than some sleep issues and social anxiety. Now I don't recognize myself and I just want to go back to before I ever stepped foot in his office. Dr Torquato is carelessly handing out these drugs that can ruin peoples lives, he didn't tell me initially that I would become quickly dependent and the hell it would be to get off these. He has no idea of the effect of these drugs, as he told me to just stop taking them (very dangerous) I wasted so much money going there, but worse I now have the consequences of what he did to me and months of recovery and horrific withdrawals to deal with.

I Went in for feeling tired. had some lab work done, but when dr torquato heard I have anxiety he put me on Xanax for sleep. Having no idea what this junk was (and that it is only suppose to be used for a couple weeks) I started it. He had me taking 2 to 3 pills a night with a plan to stay on for 8-12 months! Do these drs not know how addictive and how horrific the process of getting off these benzos are or are they just in it for the money? After 3 weeks of use I researched Xanax more and realized I did not want to be on that. I consulted the dr and he told me I could just stop. Well let me tell you, I knew enough from research online to not stop cold turkey and tried to taper myself down. Even then I had 3 nights of insomnia, panic, heart palpatations, and that was only after a few weeks of use. When Torquato contacted me after I told his office what was happening his response was, "that's not normal" and told me I needed to stay on the benzo and add prozac to the mix. It's been 5 weeks now and after seeking proper guidance on getting off Xanax I realize it could be another month or so to hopefully be done with it! Praying the withdrawals will be less severe. Worst decision I made going there. It's touted as a "find the root cause" sort of facility that doesn't push meds.....that is far from the case. These drs should have to have a patient sign an informed consent when dealing with handing out Benzodiazepines, I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I thought it was just a sleeping pill. And the drs are not educated on the effects of those drugs. I thought I should warn others.

Dr. Torquato was so kind and understanding. I took my brother to see him and it’s the first positive experience he has ever had with a Doctor. He now feels comfortable to go again. We are so appreciative of everyone at the office that were so caring.
