when i was younger i was always called over dramatic or a hypochondriac when i thought i was sick with something so into my adult years i found it hard to communicate my illness when i didn’t feel well. i found the courage to go to Fastpace in Sylacauga after a week of pain in my chest. i walked in and was promptly seen within less than 15 minutes of my arrival. not having insurance was zero issue for them. i could see the fee being a little high but i guarantee i got more information and spent less money than i would’ve had i gone to the ER. the staff was so reassuring i was honestly kicking myself for not coming in sooner. after explaining everything to the doctor i was validated and listened to. they ran tests and gave me a diagnosis and all it took was one hour out of my day. i was sent off with a prescription and a request to come back later that week. the medicine helped tremendously and at my follow up i was given more information on my diagnosis and a thorough treatment plan was laid out for me. i feel infinitely grateful to the incredible medical staff at Fastpace not only for making me feel heard, but also for not giving me the run around and making me pay for unnecessary tests or treatments. they got right to the point and i feel so confident that going to the doctor will be easier from here on. i cannot recommend this quick care more!
