Was recommended the trans health program by my PCP. What a mistake. The nurse practitioner, Daniel Kahn, decided to ask me if I was "into cis women" when I told him I was a transfem lesbian. He then told me to expect a followup and to submit paperwork attesting to my "gender disorder" but never reach out again nor told me where I should submit this paperwork. I decided to give them one last chance and see if they had any decent resources for voice feminization. After more weeks of waiting the sent me a list of resources which consisted of more nonexistent or "404 not found" pages than actually helpful resources - and nothing outside an hour's drive from where I live. What a joke.

I have been going to Fenway Health for 4 years and the staff is amazing, they are thorough, follow through they care about my health for REAL and that's the word, real, that's what the staff is! No phonies here. They are a one stop shop, for lack of a better phrase. From primary care, dental, optical, MAT services and Tran services 🌈 I'm not sure of all the letters in order, I apologize I mean no disrespect there. Just want everyone to know that Fenway Health and the staff ⚕️ are dedicated to their profession. 💗💯🌈⚕️

I scheduled a bunch of appointments in Nov and Dec because I was taking some health leave time in Jan-Feb and going to NH. During my Dec dental appointment, someone took a bad xray, and they made me have another appointment for an xray at a specialist in Jan, which was a 5hr round trip for me for that specialist to say everything was fine and someone at Fenway took a bad xray. The dental and optometrist offices coordinated appointments on the same day in Feb as it's a 5hr round trip while I'm on leave. They BOTH canceled, and I can't get another dental appointment (for what I could have gotten done in Dec) until mid-March.

It doesn't matter how good the service is if patients can't reasonably access the service.

I went here for 4 years and every time I was assigned a doctor, they were leaving the practice a few months later. They charged me for an annual physical which is supposed to be free. I called, sent messages with no response. They finally call me back literally 3 months later and leave me a voicemail that the appointment was also for anxiety which is why I was charged. This is a complete lie, the appointment was simply an annual physical and I didn't bring up any other concerns. They just wanted some way to get more money from the appointment. Super scummy. I would never recommend this place

This place saved my husband and my lives, and that is no exaggeration. We will forever be grateful to their kindhearted staff. Jimmy, Cat, Gabe, just to name a few are some of the people that really care and will go out of their way to make sure you are not just healthy but happy. Sometimes it feels like talking to an old friend.

Great experience! Dr. Diallo was very attentive and answered all my questions - I never felt rushed during the appointment. Blood work process was extremely efficient and fast.

EDIT: to the Fenway folks commenting on this post asking me to fill out a survey; do you realize I’ve already filled out 4? Maybe answer the first one I sent and fix the actual problem. Your bullshit customer survey literally does nothing because the problem still exists and you guys are actively doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it

This place used to be good, maybe the first year I started going here, which was 6 years ago. Even before Covid, this place was taking a deep nose dive with patient relations. They don’t communicate with their patients. Doctors continuously leave and they don’t let the patients know leaving them to randomly find out they have another doctor when they try to make appointments. You can’t get a hold of anyone. You leave numerous messages with people hoping they’ll call you back, and they don’t. They’ll mess up your entire prescription and send it to a pharmacy you didn’t ask them to send the create a whole mess for you with your refills. They don’t take accountability for their mistakes and double down to make it worse. I get the healthcare field right now is a mess, but being transparent with your patients would be a lot easier and would also provide patients to be more understanding about f you’d just explain what’s happening. But they don’t. They make it worse themselves

God forbid you have a prescription here and it needs a form filled out. You will not get a response from the medical team, and you have to try and keep on them to fill out the form, have it sent to their pharmacy not an outside one like CVS so that insurance covers it, and then not tell you when pharmacy has it. This has been an ongoing issue and patient care seriously has gone down the tubes here. You have to constantly advocate for yourself and keep on them. They have waitlists out for quite some time and you rarely get to see your own provider. I have been going here since 2017 or so, and it use to be great.
