this was my first time in a psychiatric ward, i was admitted into the psychiatric ward for wanting to hurt myself and depression, when i was first admitted i felt anxious and scared, but it really helped me get back on my feet & the nursing staffs were always so caring and sweet, lastly the food there was good (maybe better than my mom’s). i really recommend coming to this hospital.

First, I'd like to talk about my visit to FMC in 2014. I was admitted into the Psychiatric Ward for depression and acute anxiety. The care I received was excellent. Since I have had an ongoing and extensive mental health history, this has caused me to be admitted many times to many different Psychiatric Hospitals, mostly in the greater Phoenix, AZ area, but also in Texas. With having so many inpatient stays in so many different facilities, I've been able to see how vastly different each hospital is. From how well the facility is maintained to the quality of the nursing staff etc. I've had the opportunity to evaluate at least 10 different facilities.
My experience at FMC was one of the best all around. The nursing staff was always attentive and caring. They truly listened to what I had to say and responded appropriately, (this may sound like like standard medical protocol to some, but trust me, in the Psych Ward's this is a very uncommon luxury). The Providers were timely and prescribed accurately. The support staff was always patient, (again, nearly unheard of in the Psych Ward's). Lastly, the food was good as well.
My overall rating of FMC's inpatient Psychiatric services is A+. If you or a love one is in need of such help I would most certainly recommend coming to this hospital.

I was taken in by ambulance for a heart attack and had a stent implanted within minutes. The Doctors and Nurses here are top notch and truly saved my life. In recovery the Nursing staff cared for me and got me back on my feet. I would like to thank all the staff, I really appreciate all of you.
