Fontaine Outpatient Center - Harwich, Massachusetts

I had a very disappointing experience at this outpatient facility when accompanying my significant other for their appointment. Despite my significant other being fully aware of my arrival and consenting to me being in the room, after I had already been walked to the room and forced to wait outside I was then walked back into the patient waiting area and told that I need to sit and wait due to their “policy”.

The examination itself was brief and felt rushed, with no X-rays taken despite clear indications that they were necessary. When I asked the physician why no X-rays were being taken, I was met with rudeness and a vague, unsatisfactory explanation.

We were ultimately advised to follow up with another doctor, who immediately ordered the X-rays that should have been taken in the first place. It was frustrating and felt like a complete waste of time. The staff gave off the impression that they didn’t care about providing thorough or compassionate care and were more concerned with getting us out quickly.

I would not recommend this facility based on our experience.

No help or customer service. They say to call a different phone to schedule and no reply probably as it's 6 months to get a general appointment after spending hours navigating the online site is not user friendly either.

In and out for an X-ray little over an hour not bad at all. Infinitely better than going to CCH

I came in shortly after they opened on Wednesday morning for suspected Strep. I was checked in quickly (only 1 person in waiting room ahead of me) and then seen almost immediately once I was assigned a treatment room. The doc seamlessly came in as the nurse was headed out with the strep test. I felt heard. I had questions about how best to keep my kids from contracting strep from me and by the time the rapid test was back, they has all the take home papers in hand and the prescription ordered. In less than an hour I was seen and had the medicine in hand so I could start getting better. Professional, clean and efficient! Thank you.

This place is great!! All personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and wait time is always minimal. Great for those of us who have PC doctors on mainland because of none available here in Cape

Friendly and professional. Visited on Sunday and was quickly taken care of. I was in horrible back pain that I had been dealing with for months with primary care doctors, chiropractors, PT and all with no relief. Fontaine always provides an experienced doctor and time after time has given me good care that works for me .. Thank you I appreciate and certainly understand the Blessing we have here on Cape cod with Fontaine Medical Center .

I have been to this urgent care twice and have been very pleased both times. Sarah was my nurse and very warm and supportive, which I know can be difficult in a busy clinic. Margaret Putnam, NP was my provider. She was able to establish a connection, assess my condition and help in a efficient manner on both occasions. The second time I was there was very busy and she worked effectively with her staff to triage and tend to less intense and more emergent conditions. My parents have also been pleased with their visits in the past. As a provider myself places and people like this in the community are a blessing.
