Can't recommend this shop enough! Mike, Steve, and Savannah helped so much with the whole process and really put me at ease!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Savanah, and I was impressed by her focused and professional approach right from the start. During the design process, she was incredibly collaborative, working closely with me to perfect the design, which made me feel confident in her abilities.

When it came time for the actual tattooing, she was precise and took her time to ensure every detail was perfect. In addition to being thorough, she worked efficiently, maintaining high quality throughout the process. She made sure I was comfortable by communicating well and checking in with me occasionally, balancing focus and care effectively.

The final result exceeded my expectations. I'm absolutely thrilled with how the tattoo turned out, especially considering she’s still an apprentice. I can't wait to see her progress and move up from her apprenticeship—she’s going to be an incredible artist! I highly recommend Savanah to anyone looking for a fresh, professional, and skilled artist. She’s definitely one to watch as she continues to grow in her craft!

Sad that I have to change my review. This place used to be great but not anymore.

Recently was over charged for tattoos. Husband set up a couples tattoo session and I was separately charged an additional $200 for my tattoos after my husband already paid for our tattoos before I arrived without me knowing.

We have been told we have been 86ed because we asked for the overpayment back and the location has accused my husband of being high when they were tattooing which he wasn't.

It's sad when you have to place blame on others when you are the one that scammed people instead of being an adult and making things right.

Loved the tattoos I had gotten here before but now they only hold bad memories of this experience. I trusted this artist and shop and now that trust has been shattered. I have a tattoo on my leg that is 10"x4" and was charged $250 including color.

This session we were charged $400 for a tattoo that is only in black and took an hour and a half to complete plus an additional $200 for a 1"x1" tattoo and 4"x 3" in black only as well that took 45 minutes to complete both. Tip was $50 from husband, $20 from me AND a brand new tattooers rolling chair worth $80.

Avoid at all cost unless you want to be over charged for tattoos that are incomplete.

A friend told me to check out Freaks Tattoos and I am pleased I did. It’s a clean shop in the North PHX area. I stress clean, because some of us have been in tattoo shops covered in dust and that doesn’t fly. The ink I wanted wasn’t going to be extensive or super fancy, but I was never made to feel like my “request was too small.” Mikkle aka Mike handled the art portion and did a quick and detailed job. He was super accommodating on Sunday (hint). I have two more pieces to do in the Fall and I will go back and have Mike finish up what we started.
