I finally was able to see an orthopedic doctor after months of waiting. The doctor was Asian, I don't remember his name. He pretty much dismissed me, and his solution for my pain and problem with my knee was a black bulky knee brace. I was told that I should be happy because of my age and that's all he could do. What sticks out in my mind was the quick, fast assessment. He didn't see or hear me. Also, the nurse's comment, "He sees the most patience than any other doctor at the hospital." Of course he does. So sad because I'm still hurting and my quality of life is declining. I needed a better solution and some real, quality, compassionate care. So sad.

Horrible dental experience wouldn’t recommend unless you wanna have the dentist get upset with you for moving will pulling/ripping your wisdom teeth out and pulling/yanking on your mouth/cheek with metal tools causing your lip to rip, bruise, and bleed not to mention the amount of novacaine I threw up after leaving and not feeling well after 10 shots is crazy! Never have I ever had a bad experience but GIMC sure keeps disappointing everyone for sure and will continue very disgusting and shameful

Granddaughter passed out and was taken to this so called hospital. She has POTS along with heart condition and long covid and the nurse laughed at her and discharged her. Disgusting behavior for a medical person.

I’m getting discharged this morning, I cannot tell ya how sad I’m going to be when I get home. The GIMC OR Surgeon, his staff and ER staff, nurses, doctors, and the anesthesiologist were nothing but caring and attentive to me for my entire stay here. I stayed approximately 4 days. I’ll be sad to go home and tend to my recovery without them! Thank you so much for your wonderful care and so thankful we have such diverse and caring staff from all over serving in our great Gallup, NM! I am forever thankful and will be praying for your continued strength, hard work and protection!! Bless you all!! ❤️‍?

This review is very specifically directed at one individual, not this entity as a whole. This is about a phone call received at 3 am this morning, at our home/business, from one of your nurses, Peter Hunt-Rosado, demanding information on a wrecked vehicle. Apparently an elderly woman was being released from the hospital after a car accident and he wanted info on her vehicle. Our phone tree clearly states for people that are calling on wrecked or stored vehicles to leave a message with vehicle type, tow date, etc and wait for a call back. He, Peter, instead presses 1 for EMERGENCY towing and roadside assistance. When he was asked to call back during regular business hours, as the car was completely undrivable, he called me rude and started arguing with me about our process. We are family owned and operated, and have elderly here in the home as well, and do not appreciate the harassment at 3 am. As I am sure your establishment has procedures in place, and for a reason. Furthermore, it needs to be the vehicle owner or the owner's power of attorney to retrieve vehicle info for future reference.

What’s the point of this hospital, if no one helps. From check in, to the Dr, no one seems to know how to there jobs. They’re always rude. Dr. Lacey, you are the worst. What kind of unprofessional doctor, laughs at their patients. This hospital needs all new staff.

I got into the ER with a big boil that it was infected a nurse in ER the best one took a very good care of me her name was Rachel's thank you so much... it was amazing me and my mom just loved her and we are nurses in Fort Defiance... everyone in this hospital had give me very good attentions and great treatment i will rate them a 10 of 10 thank you. And in the floor i had the best nurses ever one name Tamika and another one name Gina God bless this womans.... This hospital have a Great staff starting from Dr.Tempest to nurses Thank you All for the great treatment blessings! This review was by Carmen Alicia Colon Perez.
