They had no interest in getting my brother healthy enough to leave, the Dr. Said he didn't need any other records from sturdy hospital or my brother's primary care. He only needed his own records. BEWARE

I spent a month here in rehab after a seizure that nearly took my life. Upon waking up to realize where I was I was initially horrified but the caring reassuring staff calmed me and attended to my every need. There are so many staff there that are such wonderful people they are a ray of sunlight in a darkened place! I'm not talking about just doctors & nurses, I mean every corner from the cafeteria workers to the lovely woman that washed my clothes...& Ming! He is one of my favorites! If I had to go into rehab again I would certainly choose Garden Place!

The never have their residents ready on time . They donโ€™t know how to give them a descent meals and the donโ€™t take good care of all the residents that live there. There is only one nurse I trust that works there. If a resident leaves for a few days they donโ€™t make sure they have all of their medications. If these things donโ€™t get better Iโ€™m going to the better Business bureau.

Tremendous team of providers.
I found the nursing staff, PT. OT and Speech therapy to be professional, fun and more than effective. The nursing staff, Debbie, Sarah and Lu were all very professional and supportive. Craig, in the kitchen hit it out of the park on my special order/alternative meal requests. You just have to know the menu has alternative options which are posted.
I am grateful to the whole team of care providers for their attention to detail, great communication, and for helping me recover quickly.

Kindest of regards,
Doug Burns

Terrible place. If you have a loved one or yourself. Do not use thus facility. They would get better care at home. Even if you didn't know what to you were doing. So much research out there. These people do absolutely nothing!!!

No attn pd to my mom with dementia. I was heartbroken everytime I left her. She couldnt feed herself along with her roommate. They just left a tray. She was a diabetic being fed glazed ham and sweet desserts. I guess some dont have it as bad...they must have better finances. My mom was just medicare.

Awful Nursing home with limited staff who don't treat the elderly patient's well, leave them sitting in urine and feces until they have time to change them. They don't bath or shower patient's daily. My family member suffered a stroke there & it took 3 days to have her transferred to a local hospital to confim this. Also, severly dehydrated and took 2 days to get IV fluid order and 3rd day IV started. Not one trained person noticed that her lathargia, facial droop & lack of movement in arm were results of this. Very sad that staff have no respect for elderly.
