I switched from one of the big Pharmacy companies when they stopped having a real person answer the phone. Gate City Pharmacy was a breath of fresh air. They always have a real person answer the phone and the store has a mom and pop feel with great customer service.

I just googled to find the number to refill a prescription and saw some "one stars" which surprised me since the staff has been unfailingly kind, helpful, responsive, and professional. In almost every case of a negative review (maybe every case?) it appeared that the dissatisfied customer came here and aired their grievances before contacting the pharmacy, where there are people who can actually address whatever the problem is. I think that is the least a person should do if they have an issue, especially in a public forum. What if someone had a grievance with you and you never heard about it or had a chance to respond until they published it where many people could see it?

I have used this pharmacy for awhile , it’s pretty good they have nice people here who do care I’ve came here for years & they have helped me in different ways I’ve had a few issues with things but all in all this is the best pharmacy I’ve used in the area . I know I can depend on them to have my meds ! I drive all the way to them because most pharmacies don’t carry the meds I need .

Amazingly Fast & Friendly Service! The Lady who assisted me at the front counter actually went "Above & Beyond" what I've ever experienced before; Especially from Big Named Pharmacy Chain Stores! She took the time to walk back & double-check with the Pharmacist when I let her know I was confused about why some of my Prescriptions weren't filled. This was my very 1st time at this Pharmacy & I was Extremely Impressed! Everyone there made me feel as if I was actually a part of their Family!
I'll be transferring ALL my Prescriptions here ASAP!
