Dr Fareed is highly recommended but I believe he is too busy amd has too many patients. My husband broke his leg and we went for a follow up for on X ray results to get.PT.started. He said hed.call with the results and we waited almost 5 weeks for that ohone.call i called.severla times asking about his x rays. Ended getting results from cardiologist. PT wasn't feeling well so we end going to the twice becuase we can get an apt till we'll over month and they just tell me another Dr is covering and we didn't have to gonto the ER. Also had major issues teying to get a dermatology referral and Dr sent a blank RX for durable medical equipment like a wheel chair to insurance company, waited and waited then they call and day the RX doesmt specify any equipment so we couldn't wait and about the equipment out of pocket even though we have insurace. It's been 6 months and still can't get that dermatologist referral even though I as for it at time of visit it never gets sent and when I ask for a hard.copy they siad there isn't an order in PT file , Dr forgets tonorder it

Dr. Fareed is a great doctor. Very friendly. However, his office is always completely over booked and the wait times are worse than the DMV. Then you’ll be almost rushed through the appointment you just spent 3 hours waiting for, it’s completely ridiculous.

I'm an RN and have nothing but good to say about this incredible man. My husband, who recently passed away, ONLY lived as long as he did because of Dr. Fareed's superior knowledge, excellent skills and compassion. Even after my husband's death, he called and asked if he could do anything for me. God Bless Dr. Fareed Always!

Dr. Fareed was my doctor for many years and as like others I trusted him and believed in him. However in April 2015 I nearly died as a result of Dr. Fareed. Because of his lack of attention I found myself in the emergency room. I preceded to have 2 heart attacks and a stroke due to lithium toxicity.....a medication Dr. Fareed was prescribing to me and failed to do the required blood work needed for anyone taking Lithium. It took over a year before I could walk without assistance and I will never recover my memories. While in the hospital I didn't know that I had children and the doctor at UCSD Thorton hospital had to introduce to my children.
Like others I thought Dr. Fareed was s great doctor but I learned the hard way. While I was in PMH Dr. Fareed did come and visit me in the ICU once where he asked my daughters who was prescribing the lithium to your mother they said you are he proceeded to leave. When my daughter went to his office and asked for my records they reluctantly gave her them. The only problem was someone had perged my medical records trying to exclude any mention he prescribed Lithium to me. Proving he only cares about himself and not his patients.

Dr. George Fareed is a true hero and patriot for his excellent treatment of patients under his care during the Covid pandemic. I am very thankful that Dr. Fareed had the courage to speak out for the truth on the HCQ cocktail to keep Americans safe and out of the hospital with early detection and early treatment. You are a great America, Dr. Fareed!!!!!

Dr. Freed is truly one of a kind doctor this is unprecedented. I have known him for many years and has the highest standards of care that I have seen. I have seen hundreds of doctors due to my profession and he by far is number one!!!

Don't bother going anywhere else. This guy is the epitome of what a medical doctor should be. Even in today's world where insurance providers and bureaucracy have their tentacles wrapped around medical treatment, this MD still manages to provide A+ care and this is no small feet. Eventhough you have to wait a month for an appointment if your a new patient, the wait is worth it. Thanks doc!
