If I could give negative stars I would. They were very rude to my father because he pointed out that they shouldn’t be charging tax on honey because of the Food Tax law in Indiana, and he was treated very rudely and was forced to pay it. When he came back with a printed copy with the food tax law on it she said “ I don’t care what the law says if brookville tells us to do something we’re going to do it” she was very rude. I will never go there ever again in my life and neither will any of my family because of this rude interaction. That’s not how you treat a customer

They seem to always be waiting for an order leaving me wondering if I'll have my meds before I run out. I never had this issue with any other Pharmacy. My prescription wasnt new they had plenty of warning that I would need a refill the following month but they dont have my medicine? I don't understand that at all.
Additionally, I’ve received conflicting information about automatic refills. While I was told they should happen, I’ve had to call to remind them. I even had someone confirm for me thats its best that I call. So NOT automatically filled.

I did have a warning that I might run into issues with this Pharmacy. I had used the service they provide on their website and set up all my prescriptions to transfer from my old pharmacy. A couple days before time for a refill I called to verify because I hadn't heard anything and assumed I would? They had no record of me! I explained I used the service for transferring prescriptions to them and was told that , that service does not work. WHY would the service be available to use if it doesn't work? Ultimately I have to worry each month that I may not get my medicine and I shouldn't have to.

Edited after response from owner.
If you are going by my username in Google that's not my last name. I will call but I'm not sure if Im calling the regular number? Do I ask for anyone specifically or do I call and say I want to talk to the person who responded to my Google review? I don't particularly want to talk to the pharmacy staff about a complaint about the pharmacy. I would however be happy to talk to you (the owner).

Oh and it is true. I was told the meds had not come in yet the past two times the first time I got the meds the day after I ran out there was a hand written note on the bag to try and get them to me ASAP. ( I do appreciate that) The second time I called a day or two in advanced and was told they were waiting on an order again and wasn't sure if they could fill it. It did however came in and was delivered the day before it was needed. Still had me worried and cutting it too close for me. Not enough time to work out a solution if it hadn't been delivered. You should also be able to easily confirm if your website was working correctly the month prior to when I first joined your pharmacy. The lady on the phone stated that function of the site doesn't work and preceded to set me up on the phone then. I'm guessing she would remember this conversation. Do you by chance record calls? I could probably provide dates and a number so you can listen to these conversations yourself.

7/8/2024 Update
Well here I am again....I am out of one of my meds and do not have it to take this morning.

But... I called spoke to Jason and he looked into my problem and my Medicine was not set for auto refill. He had them sent to me immediately. The person/s I spoke to before were never close to being as helpful as he was. I realize now that my problem isn't with the pharmacy but some of the employees.

He also explained why I have had issues with being told they are waiting for the meds to come in.He explained how that works and he also explained that when they say they our out and waiting for an order they still have a small supply on hand to tied people over a few days. This was never communicated to me before and I was given the impression I'd get my meds if they came in and they have no control over whether they come in or not. Every month since I been with Georges I have worried about whether it was gonna come in on time. (Full disclosure one time it came in a day earlier than it was needed but only after I called.)

I had decided after I got my medicine today that I would no longer use Georges. I planned to move my prescriptions. But Jason took the time to figure out what was going on, discovered that it was not set for auto refill and said he would watch my prescriptions personally. So when he asked if I'd give them another chance I was happy to.I like to support small business when I can.

I use this pharmacy when I get my medication filled but lately they have been out just about every time I go for a refill. Other than that the pharmacist Jason is a nice guy. Now the Brookville one is a different story in there the techs are usually young and rude or just don't know anything to be of any help. The Brookville location doesn't have as much parking as the one in Connersville. I only recommend the Connersville one.

Everyone is always super helpful and nice when you walk in. They always work with you on getting your medication. I highly recommend Georges over any other pharmacy around!

I called to inquire about a product's availability and couldn't have asked to be treated any kinder. The female I spoke to sounded young and was so pleasant and clearly didn't mind helping me, even though it meant going to check their supply. It made me smile to come across someone who apparently enjoys helping others. My parents used George's Brookville pharmacy for years and years and I always liked them, too. Friendly, helpful and so much quicker than most other pharmacies. There's nothing better than family-owned and ran businesses and I can see how George's have been around so long. Great place.

I'm a new patient to the connersville office. I didn't really like my previous pharmacy because they would never call me when they don't have enough medication to fill. Also, not too friendly but I think they are overworked and underpaid
