Third rheumatologist seen but the first to listen and understand! I have an unusual set of symptoms (in Europe it would be Histamine Intolerance), but she was able to help me. I admire her thoughtful, caring, and skillful patient care. She is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. I am a retired clinical psychologist and health care administrator, and have worked with hundreds of physicians over the past 45 years.

I guess I agree with everyone else so far: Dr. Fatemi seems astute, caring, capable - but her office help could use a serious upgrade. her tone left me feeling like I was a problem she was trying to get out of her way, she interrupted me multiple times, and she hung up on me rather than allowing me to convey information for the doctor. Which means, she is interfering with my medical treatment. I think that without her office help, I'd rate the doctor between 4 and 5. But I'm giving the office as a whole a 2.

This review has nothing to do with the dr but the office staff. Dr Gita is fantastic and amazing with communication and diligent in her work, however the office staff has to be the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve called the office 3x in the last 2weeks trying to get back in due to sed rate being elevated from other labs and my primary is saying get back in with my rheumatologist however staff keeps saying they’ll leave an “urgent” note to scheduling staff to call back and it’s impossible lately to get a call back despite all efforts. I’ve had to find a new rheumatologist because of the incompetence. Juana was entirely unhelpful especially I even said I’ll wait on the line for 10 min for them to return for lunch and her response was some generic rude apology. It’s a shame a great dr will loose patients because of lazy negligent staff.

Dr. Gita is the most caring RA Dr I have had in my 75 years.
She IS a most caring, informative Dr. She had me feeling the best I have ever felt. She is very popular and is worth waiting for an appointment. Trust me! Lovely, caring personnel also work for her.

I have been seeing Dr. Gita since 2021 and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a rheumatologist. She exceeds her personality, who is super kind and understanding. SHE listens. She is the BEST. After years of lower back, bilateral hip pain, Dr. Gita did several tests and MRI's I finally had a diagnosis: Ankolosing Spondylosis when other Doctors didn't know what to do with me, Dr.Gita did. She listens and is so very understanding. I would highly recommend Dr Gita so don't be disappointed that it takes soo long, Dr. Gita knows what she is doing. It took 10 years to diagnose me with lupus/ fibromyalgia by another doctor. She is an answer to your pain. Just be patient.👍

I was referred to this person based on a blood test that came back positive. It took me two days to finally reach someone in her office to make an appointment.

The person who finally returned my call (Annabelle) sounded as though she was in a hurry and was terribly unfriendly. She did not have a nice countenance on the phone at all. She told me the doctor could not schedule an appointment until late April!!! This is March 2nd!!!

Furthermore, she told me they didnt take our insurance, but I was sitting on my computer in front of our website and the doctor was on our list!

Not a good way to treat new patients who are scared and looking for answers from a professional. Shame on you.

same problem. I called a week ago to make an appointment. Asked me to call my primary doctor to send X-rays and blood test over. My doctor sent over right away.
Told me they would call back to make my appointment. Never called. Office staff not very nice. Might look g
for another doctor.

She listened to my young adult daughter..most doctors brushed her joint pain off as "growing pains". Still early in the tx process, but we couldn't be happier.
