They were more concerned with me signing up for discounted visits than my health issues. I was completely ignored with everything I explained to the doctor I saw.
They scheduled additional appointments and ordered lab tests without discussing it with me. Most concerning for me was when I picked up my medications prescribed to me and the pharmacy explained to me two of the medications prescribed should not be taken together. That the medications prescribed was a very dangerous combination.

Dr. Johnson should not be a doctor, period. She’s cold and doesn’t care for her patients. I’ve never cried after a doctors visit like I did with her. She walked out of the room when I wasn’t finished telling her my concerns, didn’t listens to my concerns with PCOS just because I wasn’t experiencing one symptom when it affects every woman differently, and judged my life choices shaming me for wanting to get my health in line to start a family in my mid 20’s. I asked for some help with a note for work and she looked and talked to me like I was stupid. She seems so uneducated and shouldn’t have taken a job to be a doctor if you are gonna treat your patients like that. Do better, Dr. Johnson. Canceled all my appointments with her, will not be seeing her again.

I had appointment with dr A halappa she is don’t know what to do with the pain and patient I was in really bad pain she wrote the medication but she didn’t allow it to pick up I was in so bad pain from stomach after 2 days I went to another place they said because of not using any medication or don’t care you have to do surgery

Dr. Johnson shouldn't be a Medi-Cal doctor if she has no empathy for people relying on government support. Saying things like "We pay taxes to support you" is extremely unprofessional. No one forced her to work at Golden Valley, which supports Medi-Cal; she could work at places that accept private insurance instead. Her lack of empathy and constant talking over patients is unacceptable for any doctor. The reviews clearly show that people have been unhappy with her services for over 3+ years, yet nothing has been done.

It's especially frustrating to see elderly family members or people with language barriers, who can barely express their issues, treated this way—especially after waiting six months to a year for an appointment. She makes them feel inferior and seems to be taking out her frustrations on them. It's clear she's biased and not fit for her role. It's really upsetting that despite all the negative feedback, no one has taken action to address this. Something needs to change so that all patients get the respect and care they deserve.

The reviews are right Dr. Johnson is very unprofessional. She didn’t give me a chance to speak about my symptoms, she was in the room for about a minute and she was walking out as I was trying to speak to her & ask questions. I have never felt so unseen and disrespected by a doctor before. I was already on my way home when I received a phone call from the nurse saying the doctor ordered xrays, why not tell me when I am there instead of just saying you were going to give me medicine and that was it. I was so defeated I thought that was it for the appt so I left and the nurse saw me leave too.. then the nurse calls me on the phone to go back to get that… really

Dr. Johnson is the WORST. There is no point defending yourself if she insults you as she always speaks over you and never allows you to finish what you’re saying. I recommend seeing another doctor. She lacks empathy and makes you feel that she does not care about your health

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The staff had very positive attitudes and was taken to a room within 2 mins. Dr came in and answered all my concerns and went my tests. I had just a great experience coming to a new Doctor and everyone making you feel at ease.
