Good Samaritan hospital is a Godsend. My father was extremely ill when he went into the ER at Good Sam. They immediately took him in and gave him the proper treatment to bring him back around. The ER doctor is extremely knowledgeable, listens to the family and patient, and is very kind. The nurses and staff are also receptive and kind. The level of medical care at Good Samaritan is outstanding and surpasses two other local hospitals that my father has recently been at. Thank you for providing a high standard of care, Good Sam and Boston Medical. We appreciate you beyond words.

I recently went to visit someone at this hospital and I was very impressed with how clean it was and how kind the staff was throughout the whole time I was there. They knew their patients well and I could tell they enjoyed helping them.

I was recently hospitalized at Good Sam, and I cannot say enough about every single staff member that I met every single person that was a part of my hospital. Stay was just amazing. Each and everyone of them were so caring and kind and wonderful. I was absolutely shocked at how wonderful they were. That facility is spotless. They were washing the floors every night. I could’ve eaten off the bathroom floor. I haven’t had anyone be as good to me or as kind to me as those nurses and those doctors and I would recommend anyone to go here. They were very thorough and , found out what my problem was and took care of it. You don’t find hospitals like this anywhere these days.

Worse than the rest.. Emergency room dept is horrible.. All kinds of Hippa violations soon as you register at front desk no privacy. Once brought to the back I was placed on a gurney at the nurses station near an automatic door that constantly opened and closed blowing cold air. I watched everyone have conversations about personal life and other patients almost as if I was not there.. I literally sat in this spot outside of an unassigned room for hours without any bloodwork taken or MD assessments, just sitting like a owl rotating my neck in disbelief.. So much disorganization and hospital staff walking around looking lost like a scene from “The Walking Dead”. Can the system get any worse… They are failing us..

I had the worst experience at Good Samaritan Hospital’s emergency department. I arrived with fever symptoms and ended up waiting over three hours without anyone checking on me. The lack of urgency and patient care was appalling. The staff seemed completely indifferent to the situation, and I felt ignored the entire time.

Frustrated, I decided to leave and went to Brigham and Women’s instead, where I was seen promptly and received the care I needed. The difference in service was night and day.

If you need emergency care, I strongly recommend avoiding Good Samaritan and going to a hospital that actually prioritizes its patients.

I recently slipped and fell on a very thick piece of ice. I had severe shoulder and knee pain. And was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The nurses were great! I had ex rays done and then waited for almost two hours to be seen. The actual Dr. however was horrible!!!!! He did a quick evaluation of my knee and didn’t even touch my shoulder. He basically brushed it off as soreness, because there wasn’t anything broken! He offered me crutches and in the same breath said he didn’t suggest them because of the snow. As for my shoulder that he never even examined to see where the pain was…he said that my body will experience soreness. For something he never even examined!!! Hopefully this will be my first and last time having to visit this hospital!

He was treated so well while in the E.R. Very efficient, skilled, friendly and timely.

My mom was treated there after a fall and I want to say thank you for the good care she was given. Also a huge shout out to Jenna, a case manager/social worker there who is very professional, kind and compassionate and went above and beyond to set my mom up in a really good rehabilitation center when it was her time to leave there. My Mom and her family are grateful. Thank you so much
