Great place to go if you want to get clean and start a life of recovery. It's rehab not a summer camp, you get out of it what you put in. If you want true brotherhood the Serenity house is where your going to find it.

3 month program for a dui , my last class was watching Tom cruise movie . There was a gentleman by the name of Carl that spent a hour teaching , for some reason his no longer there. Now it’s throw a movie in. Carl actually thought you . It’s very expensive for those that can’t afford it.
But if you find a way , you do not get any sort of education for the money. Carl was great.

Worst place to go I suggest pathways or buddy’s ranch granite wellness is horrible definitely not professional the program manager is inappropriate with staff and clients he does not have the best interest in the company there is 1 actual counselor the rest are interns half the time the place is a mad house super unorganized there are no boundaries definitely not a place to go they have drugs in and out of the facility there’s very few good staff members who try to help the rest could care less they only want you there so they can collect the money from your insurance this place has so many wrong doing and should be shut down they wonder why they lost the Truckee facility auburn facility and Nevada city (Lovett) facility this place needs to be shut down like the rest of their facilities or they need a new HR program management and all higher ups they will brush off anything and everything!!!!!!!

Worst treatment facility in all of the foothills. Staff are demeaning, arrogant and rude and the Director is just as God-awful. Go to Pathways or literally ANYWHERE but here.

I dont understand why this place has people in charge such as Nicole Carmen who allows clients to use and then pushes patients out so that she get her friend's spots there. Then we've got Nevada county that sends people there for treatment. This is the most laughable thing I've ever seen. Why is this place still in business and why is Nevada county contracting through such place? NEVADA COUNTY WHY ARE YOU DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE? This IS NOT a recovery house. THIS CASH COW NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!

just came out of here. most staff talk about their using days like it was a fun time, and talking to the clients about men they know and talking about how they hooked up with those men. group is inconsistent and the staff have no control over the residents in group. besides two staff. Layla and Walter. the only thing you get out of here is 30, 60, or 90 days clean. i recommended just going to a place with better reviews or just go to a meeting. i was treated with disrespect by one of the cooks because i declined a brisket with coleslaw that had fruit in it. one of the "nurses" there said i had to do 2 things in order to see the psych on their campus, and i did those 2 things the same day i was asked, and i waited until the day i left, 2 weeks after i did those things. never saw the psych, and i did follow up and asked her if she had any updates. she said no. also, got looked in the eye and was told very rudely that this place isnt a mental health facility. ive been to better rehabs in compton. thanks.

It was the most wonderful experience I had ever had. I was shown how to redirect my behavior, thought process, I was in the process of learning coping tool for every day life, however I was forced to graduate early, do to funding, I had not gotten the chance to be shown how to manage those tools in every day living. As a mom I was comfortable having to have been tought how to be a mom,,, my only real thought and hope would to be in the hope house with my son and to be at ease with my anxiety. I love my therapist we had made magnificent breaking barriers, coming up with solutions. In over all I think about how life would have been, if had been given the opportunity.

I researched this place and because they accepted our private insurance I suggested it to my husband. When he was finally ready to get real help he contacted them and began the process. The timing was not the greatest because it was in the middle of the existing Pandemic. (June 2020) . We have private insurance & there was quite a bit of money required to pay upfront. Which happened with help of family. However; it was explained to us that it would be good for 7 days. He would then need to be reevaluated with the insurance and the doctors at the center. Fine. All of that was explained. Very costly, however apparently if you have private insurance you must have thousands of dollars to spend weekly on a 30 day program. However; what was NOT told to us, is that my husband would be tested for COVID and put on quarantine for the first 5 days! So he was provided no services for those 5 days. NOT a single group meeting, not a single private meeting. Nothing. Sat in a room completely alone for 5 days because of COVID. NOT FAIR WHATSOEVER. That should of been explained prior to leaving him there, or it shouldn't of gone against the first 7 days. We paid close to 2K for him to sit in solitaire for 5 days and 2 days of "services" before he decided no one was going to be giving them anymore money and he came home. Thankfully he has continued to be sober. BUT there needs to be better communication.
