The environment is very friendly, clean, and modern. Dr. Johnson was great and answered any questions I had about the procedures I needed done.
They have the latest technology and a great atmosphere that is pretty relaxing; I don't really feel nervous at the dentist at all!

Shout out to Andrea, Jackie, and Aurora!
Recently switched to Great Smiles after changing insurance providers and it's been such an improvement in care.
Dr. Johnson and her staff are all welcoming, friendly, professional, and thorough in explaining each step of whatever process they're working on. The office space itself is immaculate, and has an upbeat energy. Never thought I'd enjoy going to the dentist...who knew?

Highly recommended, especially for those who might be nervous about discomfort/pain, etc. because they definitely take that into consideration.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Personalized welcome sign with your name for your first visit was a nice touch.
The ladies are super friendly and explained the whole process with you. Almost makes you feel like an intern but in a good way. Wait time from entering was 10min which was nice.

Great experience today for my cleaning with Marina and overview with Dr. Johnson (as always), and Angelina was fantastic going over the financials. The atmosphere is always fun, and staff is always pleasant and mindful. Very honest about treatment and financials. I’ve had some terrible experiences with other dentists and when voicing my concerns with Dr. Johnson she’s always very understanding and compassionate to give you the opposite treatment and experience!

Best care! I’ve been coming here for my regular cleaning over three years and this past year I did Invisalign. The attention to detail and care I received was next level, and I’m super happy with the results! You’re in good hands here!

Incredible staff who are super kind and friendly, the latest technology and devices, and a super cool atmosphere and modern space. Doesn’t even feel like I’m at the dentist, just hanging out with friends listening to good music, and then I leave with an even brighter smile!

I had the best experience here at Smiles of La Mesa. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful, and knows their stuff.
I am 71, don’t love going to the dentist, but I have to admit that this was the first time I had an easy and pleasant experience. Dr. James gave me my treatment plan and I am happy to be returning to get my teeth and gums back in shape.
Thank you so very much for your expertise and great bedside manors.
