THE STORY OF THE STOLEN WHEELCHAIR
Due to a torn meniscus I was in need of a transport chair. RENAE, was the most delightful person attending to my needs at Greensboro Discount Medical Supply.When I left the store I was thinking how nice it was to support a small business and receive excellent customer service.

Fast forward to the next evening to an event I attended at the Coliseum. Once inside, I managed to get into a regular chair and parked my transport chair where the Coliseum attendant indicated.
After the event was over, my wife went to retrieve my chair but it was gone. This sent my wife and Coliseum attendants into a futile search for over an hour. Someone had TAKEN my chair! We wanted to give whoever it was that TOOK MY CHAIR the benefit of the doubt. However, after another 3 hour futile search of the Coliseum and parking lot the following day by my wife, it was decided my transport chair had been STOLEN!
Who does that?!?
The next day I limped into Greensboro Discount Medical Supply ready to pay for my STOLEN transport chair. After filling in a very compassionate RENAE on my story, she persuaded me to wait a week with the hopes that our thief would have a guilty conscience and return the chair, which had GREENSBORO DISCOUNT MEDICAL SUPPLY and the phone number, to their store or to the Coliseum. Leaving the store I thanked God for wonderful people like RENAE! I left the store feeling better than when I went in.
Who does that?!?
A couple of days later my wife was getting ready to go do another sweep of the Coliseum when her phone rang......
It was the Coliseum calling to let us know the STOLEN CHAIR had been dropped off by the front doors sometime the previous evening!
Off we took to retrieve my chair and after profusely thanking the Coliseum staff, we headed directly to GDMS. RENAE and the rest of the staff greeted us with applause and smiles as my wife rolled me into the store to surrender my CHAIR to it's rightful owner. God only knows where this STOLEN CHAIR has been.....but I know for sure how this story ends.....and it's a happy one. We all decided it was not our place to judge anyone and just be grateful for the return of the CHAIR.?‍?‍➡️
