After being seriously ill in the hospital I am now here at Sharp Grossmont Post Acute Care Rehab. Most people complain about facilities without understanding their services and limitations. They are not a hospital so care can take a little longer to receive as they have less staff and more patients which is normal. I want to get back on my feet and back to my life this is essential to ones care as well. My Care has been excellent in all facets so far and I am impressed by the number of trained staff caring for me. It is clean and maintained that way. Your room is only temporary and for your current condition. It's not the Ritz. Food is prepared for many different diet types and you may want your own seasonings. Remember your attitude is utmost in your plan.

My husband spent 2 weeks at Grossmont Post Acute after 5 days in the Kaiser hospital. He made good progress in regaining his strength with help from physical therapy and occupational therapy. The staff were very supportive and helpful. The food was the only problem because he is vegetarian. No tofu or veggie burgers, just egg salad and sometimes lentils. The salad and vegetables were okay.

I’m grateful for the staff at Grossmont Post Acute. After a fall and lengthy hospital stay my mother was not able to come home. The staff there helped her adjust, worked with her on physical therapy, and provided a safe and clean environment for her to stay. Social workers at the facility helped us navigate the very confusing process to find a long term facility for her to transition to. They kept us in the loop, guided us on decisions and paperwork and facilitated many of the important steps. Thank you to everyone at Grossmont Post Acute for your understanding, patience, and care for my mother.

The staff is excellent starting with the CNA’s They are always helpful when you call them and come very quickly after you call them. The rest of the staff is very professional. They are a team. They work very hard to make the patient stay as comfortable as possible the food is not the best but very better than what I have had in other places. The therapists are all very helpful it’s been a pleasant experience.

Hi, I’m giving this review of physical therapy and occupational therapy of Grossmont Post Acute Care and they’re all excellent. They have excellent programs and Brie is a physical therapist. She is the best she teaches you. She make sure you’re motivated. They all do it in therapy and I am so much appreciative that she is helping me build my muscles and I am so glad that I came here and will tell everybody to come here.

This is my mom’s second stay at Grossmont Post Acute. The highest compliment I can give is that the staff have all been incredibly kind to my mom. The social worker, case manager, OT, PT, speech pathologist, nurses , CNAs and activities directors all genuinely care and go out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely recommend Grossmont Post Acute.

Everyone here is wonderful. No place is perfect but when your parent is needing a rehab I fully recommend Grossmont Post Acute. My parent was scared to go into a rehab and after being here for one day my parent was relieved and could not believe that they were afraid. Every single person here is attentive and always looking out for the patients care. We will miss every single person here.
