Moving my young adult into the dorms was the most oppressive experience this year and there was absolutely nothing Excellent about the process! Hampton University must do better!
How dare you have parents and young scholars wait in lines for 6+ hours for a person to call your number to complete a 1.5 minute process. I am utterly disgusted and several families didn’t have the time to take their children shopping because they traveled several hundreds of miles to move their children into the dorms but spent their entire day at the financial building. As much as the tuition is : the process should not have required theft of time and disrespect of the families and returning students! You must do better! Didn’t even offer families water or explanations- I’m surprised there was no violence on campus after this dreadful experience! Way to disappoint Hampton! Do Better - Respect these young kings and queens!
The student body could have handled that process much better- hell, toddlers from the campus preschool would have been more prepared.

I would never recommend Hampton University Online, not even to someone I don't like. They are no help when it comes to even the simplest of things, such as class registration. I never signed up for classes because they simply wouldn't answer the phone. this school put a hold on my Pell Grant and I am currently trying to get them to release it. After multiple attempts to have them fix the issue, they have done nothing. If you want to have a phone conversation with someone, you have to repeatedly call the number over and over again to have them answer. I have reported this school to the dept of Education, maybe they can force the school to do something. If you are considering attending online college, please do not even consider Hampton University. I wish I could give negative stars, this school is nothing but a pain in the neck.

I’m actually speechless with this being “associated” with Hampton University. There’s ZERO communication between advisors and students. Lack of communication with financial advisors. This definitely gives off scam vibes. I do NOT recommend.

A 1-star rating is based on my love for Hampton University in its entirety. Hampton University ONLINE doesn't deserve it. They would receive a -1 if I must be unbiased. If you're looking to successfully continue your education don't stop here. You're much better off taking courses at a local community college for a fraction of the price. The staff are incompetent and blame students for work they should commit to doing as educators. They conduct poor communication and are very unprofessional with how they conduct business. So much for a "Standard of Excellence."
