I can see why the reviews are so bad - I’ll note this is a small hospital… be kind. Except to the reception staff they totally have attitude - the docs and nurses are great and oh by the way bring a book you’ll plan to spend a minimum of 3 hours… if you need diagnostics and more likely 5 hours … the place is clean and once you get past the rude folks up front people out back are nice, knowledgeable (slow there’s no haste here) and they helped me.

Oh one last thing; the empty waiting area is 0 indication of you being seen quickly. They literally have a skeleton crew and like 4 ER rooms

Had to visit ER for possible stroke.
We did have a great , kind day nurse and MRI tech.

Bunch of test done right away.
I'm feeling scared to death I'm gonna die.
Waiting for results.
My nurse who was great informs me we need to do my consult with doctor via zoom call. They dont have a neurologist in house at that time. He tells me he believes i had mini stroke and prescribes blood thinners. More information when test results come in.
Right away a billing lady comes in hands me my bill. Informs me if I pay right away I get a discount.
We wait for doctor to come with the results .Hours Pass, we ask again told results back waiting on doc to read them and come in for consult. I'm exhausted and still laying on the air uncomfortable bed.
Hours pass by.....
I beleive the night nurse who never introduced herself sticks her head in to say I need to be admitted. Waiting for them to move me upstairs will be soon. Not even offered a snack.
Thank God for my family.
About 10 pm I was NEVER moved from ER never spoke to a doctor about the test results. A different nurse comes in to say they have no beds. I would need to stay in the ER floor overnight and my doctor was gone for the day. At this point I decide no reason to stay this is just unacceptable treatment. Im not sleeping on a uncomfortable bed and check my self out. Refusing to let them make money for a overnight stay. With no idea of my test results.
I figure I will see my doctor ,that I trust on Tuesday since the neuro Doc had prescribed my meds. I'll be OK.

ICING ON THE CAKE. They never sent my scripts to walgreens.
My scripts where not for a common cold. We are talking blood thinners to assure a blood clot doesn't kill me. .
I called them today nurse says she needs to call me back as she does not see the order. That was 4 hours ago with no call back.

100% worst experience ever. The don't deserve anystar more like NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!
Shame on them it's all about the money with sub par care. In a town that desperately needs and deserves better medical care.

I have been attempting to resolve a billing question / concern for over 9 months - this facility charged 5X's the amount originally quoted to us and has charged three times for the same service. There is no formal dispute or grievance process, no written policy or procedure for their billing process. While receiving the service, staff were rude and there was no confidentiality provided; personal medical and identifying information was openly discussed in the waiting room in front of other patients. My bill has since been sent to collections as I continue to try to dispute the itemized charges. Unless your life is at risk I highly recommend avoiding this facility at all costs.

I am so grateful for all the nurse and staff of the Havasu regional Hospital. I was brought in by ambulance with a spine injury due to a fall. All the staff include ER nurses they were amazing. They took such a good care of me and I am from out of town, they kept me for two days in the hospital and they were amazing in keeping my pain on the control. I have nothing but a lot of gratitude for all the staff and nurse may God bless them all.!! thank you so much for being so kind with me.

I had back surgery here with a local surgeon. The surgery was a success and my care was excellent. Nurses were attentive and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to have medical procedures here again. I have not had experience with the emergency room for several years so I can't speak to that.

I had a procedure done at HRMC and my experience was 10/10. Jill, Joy, Tiffany, Cecilia, Sarah, Kim M., Dr. Whooley, Lisa CRNA, and Dr. Chauhan were all incredibly kind, caring, and made me feel so comfortable. I am also greatly appreciative to Stephanie Brison, NP for her thorough care leading up to the procedure. Highly recommend this incredible team!

I would have to say the worst medical experience I’ve ever been through. The worst hospital in the world. If you have family member that you care about, do not send them to this hospital. They will probably die from their treatment. They do not know how to evaluate anybody in there you will come out worse than you went in there, The whole hospital staff should be fired immediately especially the ER doctors.

I came to this hospital I needed an ultrasound done they did the ultrasound and I am now here 3 hours after the ultrasound was ran. And a nurse just now came and told me in the waiting room there is nobody here that can read an ultrasound what the hell any doctor can read a stupid ultrasound but not according to their nurses so anybody that comes to this hospital needs be prepared for physicians that cannot do simple tasks and the rest of the stuff is very unhelpful.
This is a follow-up from my last review. On the 25th of last month I was scheduled to go in for an MRI with or without contrast I made my appointment came into the hospital and was informed by the radiologist he would not perform an MRI he wanted to do a CT scan with contrast that would not accomplish what we were looking for as CT scans do not pick up muscle tears and that is what we were using the MRI for.
I reached out to my Physician's office they faxed the request for an MRI with or without contrast and now I am struggling to get the hospital to reschedule me I keep getting the same old thing from the management for scheduling she keeps informing me that she has to check and I will get right back to you that was on the 25th of last month I again spoke to her yesterday and she still giving me the same song and dance what the heck is up with this Hospital not good people
