Great staff but I’m sorry I can’t believe a doctor that took an oath to help injured people that don’t believe in pain meds. I have a back/spinal injury that hurts (rate 7 to a 10 in Pain factor). No I don’t take them everyday only when the pain is unbearable and hard to get around. I wasn’t in the doctor office for pain meds just ask for future flare ups in my back. I was there for an asthma attack I been having for weeks, just to be told asthma is high around here (farm country) and just gave me steroid pills that don’t do crap. I’m still having major asthma issues. As someone else post he has the right to refuse giving pain meds to patients as I have the same rights to give my review on treatment.

He wouldn’t take me as a patient because I take a pain med. I don’t even take it for pain but a chronic cough. He said it is against his rule to right scripts on any pain meds regardless of there treatment. I found him to be uncaring. Front staff was nice but he is a total waste of time. Not really a Dr. That doesn’t care about his patients. He has the right to not treat me and I have the right to write this review!

Staff and Dr are under appreciated. My first trip was better than I expected. They only have to work with what we, the patients, present to them. Thorough, professional, health conscious, to-the-point, friendly, nice, truthful, listens. Exactly what you want in a doctor visit. P. S. If I had not changed to this Dr. I don't think I would've found out what's really wrong with me. ?

My husband and I started going to Dr.Rassmussen in 2007, we have never been sorry. The entire staff has always been super friendly , yet professional. Great family christian setting. Very thankful for each of them.

I just visit this practice about 2 days ago and the doctor made us feel like he was interested in why I was there. My husband walk back with me and was there as well when doctor came in too see me! And I do not if he just do not care for African Americans or not but my husband and I got a bad vibe from him. His nurse was so sweet and caring. I will say that!

My sister was visiting me from out of town several months ago, and attempted to make an appointment when she became ill. The receptionist and front staff were rude to her on the phone and belittled her for not having a physical insurance card despite being able to pull it up on her phone. She chose to not keep her appointment and went elsewhere. My husband (who has a review below) was sick and also in need of being seen. I encouraged him to try the practice, but as you can see, he was rejected due to not being a "current patient". My own personal experience with the front staff has been horrible. They are rude and insensitive. Quite frankly, I put up with it as I enjoyed the doctor and Mrs. Ramona. The quality of medicine they practice is high, I just wish their staff were as exceptional as they are.

My co-worker was having a major allergic reaction due to a sting that happened at work. It was a honest emergency. This was the closest doctor office to where we were. We went inside the dr office and they refused to help. Made us drive 15 minutes to SE medical center while struggling to breathe. I understand they work off of appointments but for a dr to turn someone in urgent need of help away seems extremely unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr. Rasmussen for years. I have been treated well by such caring staff from the front desk, to the nursing staff including Nancy, to Dr. Rasmussen himself. They have been especially kind and caring with me dealing with a current illness and I am appreciative.
