Dr. Mani and his team is always pleasant and has worked well with my difficult insurance and budget restrictions, even allowing an affordable plan for my girlfriend (who I also pay for).

They are fantastic at detecting issues with the body and have various ways to help soothe pain and promote physical wellness such as chiropractic (of course) but also massage beds, electrical muscle stimulants, ultrasound, etc. I always leave feeling a whole lot better than when I walked in. Dr. Mani Shokoufandeh (Dr. Mani for short) is the most skilled chiropractor I have seen. For about 15 years, no chiropractor has been able to adjust my low back at all—or without making my condition worse—until I found Dr. Mani. And so many chiropractors adjust the neck just willy nilly too rough, or on the flip side—halfheartedly, but Dr. Mani is very specific and effective in his cervical adjustments.
Dr. Mani has also been able to successfully use cold laser treatment on my tendonitis so that it healed much faster, and also on my low back giving me some unexpected relief from low back pain and sciatica. Now, no more epidurals are needed!! After several months of laser treatment on my low back, my sciatic pain has not returned and my Cedar Sinai spine surgeon, who wanted to do an L-4/L-5 fusion one year ago, now says that I’m doing so well that he “wouldn’t touch me with a knife.” Cold laser has reduced the inflammation around my discs so much that it keeps the sciatic pain in check. The surgeon now says the risk would outweigh the benefit to do surgery and it is not recommended. I cannot tell you how happy that makes me.
One more special thing about Dr. Mani is that he is a “teacher” and a “life coach.” He does not just bring you into his office to adjust you, take your money, and be done with you. He also takes the extra time to explain the reasons why you are having a certain problem, what he can do about it, and what you can do about it, at home, and in your day-to-day life. He’s just really great! This is a doctor whose chiropractic hands you can trust.
Dr. Mani’s office environment and staff give a very warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere to everyone. Five thumbs up to this chiropractic office.
P.S. After 3 years of standing and walking bent forward from the waist, I can now stand and walk up straight due to the reduction of inflammation around my discs from cold laser treatment. Really, how amazing is that? How amazing is that?

I want to Dr, Moni 9 moths ago I could not walked for more the 10 minutes had pain in my back and neck . 3 Doctors wanted to do surgery as soon as possibly.I didn't know what to do . God send me Dr. Moni . after 9 months of hard work Dr. Moni did and the decompression treatment my pain is 80% better I went back to work ,I do yoga and hiking
