Absolutely horrible customer service 😔. They keep trying to bill me for equipment that was returned! Ridiculous, the rest of Health First is excellent. The doctors and hospital are wonderful. But, the medical equipment part of Health First needs new employees! ASAP! Again they have sent me a bill for equipment that I have returned. My credit is excellent and this is causing a lot of stress and anxiety! I think it's time to get the lawyer involved. Perhaps a class action should be considered. It's not about the money, it's about holding this department accountable!

I was going to go here for equipment but changed my mind when I read the comment about an employee there who was fired for not getting the Jab. I would never do any business with anyone who doesn't respect a persons personal health choice. My hat goes off to the employee who was fired for standing up for their Human Rights, If she hasn't sued the company she should and she should win!

I have been trying to get my colostomy bags for over a week. I have none. This is not something I can be without. First you say I need a doctor's order. It was sent 3 times by fax. Than you said I need the doctor to send notes and they did. What is going on? This is the worst service I have gotten in a long time. Not happy!!! Your making this very difficult for me. I can't imagine why I am being treated so poorly. Next I am calling the corperate head quarters and BBB.

Three times I've tried to order a replacement tube to connect my O2 concentrator to my cpap. Three times they've sent me the wrong thing. I've carefully explained each time that the tube has a screw on connection for the O2 machine and a slip fit to the bleed port on the cpap. No luck. I got both pieces of equipment from them so you would think someone there would have a clue.

I called this place to verify my son's prescription was available and informed them of what time I should approximately arrive. When I got there, I took a number and waited in a line that did not exist for almost 4 minutes before somebody poked their head up and finally spoke to me. I was told they could not help me because that was not what they were able to do. They were only up front to help out the front staff and the two gentlemen who were able to help me were busy. There was a female behind the counter, a young one, who rocked in a chair from side to side for the entire time I was there. She never once looked up or spoke to anybody. A customer came in about 5 minutes after I had arrived and left 10 minutes before I left. One of the representatives who was able to help me was talking to a couple about buying a chair. I get doing your job but this individual was sharing stories, laughing and prolonging the selling experience. They were with these couple before I had arrived and we're still laughing and joking with them when I got up and left. The other representative who was supposed to be able to help me was on the computer and telephone with another customer the whole time. Going back and forth with the doctor's office checking paperwork and rechecking paperwork. What a living nightmare of a process. I had a prescription and could not even get it filled because nobody was available. I felt like I was in a used car dealership in the backwoods on the side of some mountain. I hope nobody ever goes there because the experience is absolutely horrible.

I really liked Liz at the begging of 2022 at the front desk but unfortunately she didn’t want the COVID shot and was let go and she was sooooo nice and always smiling and polite. But I have found another “ Wealth of info & very GREAT at her job” …DEBBIE….in CPAP supplies. She is so professional and ready and willing to re-order your supplies and be ready for pick up. Sometimes I had no choice but to walk in the same day for supplies. I could sense that was not the right way to do it. Great Job DEBBIE, thank you.

I had to rent two pieces of equipment due to foot surgery. The customer service person I spoke with on the phone, had a less than pleasant attitude both times. It took 2 days to get her the paperwork she required. The prescription from the Doctor, although stated "needed due to foot surgery" was not enough. She required a detailed letter from the Doctor explaining exactly, why a wheelchair was necessary?
Ten days later after removal of stitches, my Surgeon wanted me to start applying limited weight on my foot until my next visit in two weeks, therefore placed a order for a Walker.
Again, the same run around. I was also informed, I must bring the wheelchair back. I explained I was still in need of the wheelchair and mentioned I had already paid the rental for a month. She said HF will not approve for me to have both pieces of equipment?

Needless to say, my husband went elsewhere and purchased me a Walker. It was far less stressful then dealing with any more aggravation.
It gave me great satisfaction today when HFME called to inform me, the Walker was ready for delivery or pick up, too forget it!

This is the most difficult link in the Healthy First system. It takes multiple calls to finally talk to a person to schedule an appointment. It may take multiple appointments to solve problems. Respiratory staff seemed overworked and not helpful. A printed prescription for Nebulizer was not acceptable and had to be faxed. CPAP supplies are ordered through automated calls rather than email links. The re-order system has proved to unavailable about half the time with advice to call another time. Once ordered, CPAP supplies did not come. Calling to get information or service is hit or miss with no human available. Just messages left. Very disappointing given the excellent quality of Health First in every other aspect.
