The kindness and hope that they have given me is beyond anything I could have anticipated. They care about each client they take on and actively work to make lives better. I have known I had HCV for a while and was unsure of how to get the help I needed. I googled help for hep c treatment and they popped up. Like others have stated I was not sure that this was real. They are. I have been treated with kindness and dignity the entire time. They improve lives and are the most amazing people I have met. From the doctors and nurses I have encountered. I didn't think that having this disease could be a good thing but recent events in my life has shown me that it's not such a bleak outlook. I am so grateful for H.U.G. Because it feels less scary and I'm not so alone.

I can not say good enough things about these folks, and Dr. Walko's team. I was diagnosed with HepC about 3 and a half months ago. And believe you my, I was scared! Long story short, after finally getting to see a doctor, my end was going to be near 2k a month for meds. I was preparing to have life for hopefully two years when Dr. Walko and his team with HUG, whom I found on Google through the Eclipsa website made it possible for me to have this life and liver saving drug. Fantastic medical team! Scheduling my appointment was easy and convenient. Dr. Tony Walker made me feel very comfortable and was both focused and attentive, which made the appointment a breeze. The doctor had very timely communication and was always willing to answer any questions, even beyond the visit, readily updating me about lab orders and results. Just had my phone consultation (and on a SUNDAY) with Dr. Walko and what an amazing experience. Set me up with everything I needed with a quick phone conversation. It has been so hard for me to find a primary where I feel welcomed and understood and simply had a doctor who showed that they genuinely cared and didn’t rush through an appointment. That was the most informative and nonjudgmental new patient visit I’ve ever experienced. The services they provide are unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and how thankful I am that they do. Tired of physicians that are unattainable? Tired of long wait times for appointments? Tired of unresponsiveness to simple questions from doctor office's? If you answered yes to any of these then you found the right place.

Everyone I have encountered and continue to encounter is not only friendly and knowledgeable but efficient. Moving from NYC to FL has not been a great transition in regard to finding a facility that is responsive without being told the next available appointment is over 30-days.

I highly recommend HUG for anyone seeking care.
