I’m giving a one star because you suppose to call day of appointment, you call off of work, then once you call being the second person for them to ask questions and then say We Will Have The Nurse Call You BACK! Is the nurse going to pay me for calling off to come see doctor or nurse practitioner!! I been going here for years and I think it’s BS, looking for a doctor office that make a appointment

The only thing I would change is the receptionist. The rest of the staff was amazing and very pleasant. They were honest with me and I too was with them, The doctor communicated with me very direct in a way that I knew and she knew I knew better. If I truly want to be around for my gbabies and continue to drive semi trucks I gotta do better. I didn’t feel like I was being judged or anything it was a very good reality check in a caring way. Got me thinking about a lot of things I need and will be doing differently thank you you guys are the best

I visited here for the first time today as a new patient to this network. My intake was very quick and the specialist at the front desk was kind and friendly. She explained that sliding-scale is an option if I ever lose my insurance, which was very reassuring. A nurse took me back for vitals and some basic questions. She, too, was friendly and easy to talk to. After the shortest wait I’ve ever experienced my selected doctor came in. Dr. Everette was so down-to-earth and personable. I felt I could trust her right away and we discussed when I should come back. Everyone in this office was respectful of me and my time and as an anxious person I felt relatively calm and understood. I’m so glad I found this clinic and care team.

I waited close to an hour to talk to my gp during my appointment, only for her to rush through our time and not send my prescriptions to my pharmacy. I went into withdrawal from my medications over the weekend because she didn't send the prescriptions to my pharmacy after our appointment, even though I asked her to during our appointment and called multiple times afterwards as a reminder when my pharmacy told me she had sent nothing. When she finally sent a prescription to the pharmacy the next week she only sent one of the two that I needed and asked her to refill. For a patient-centered healthcare facility, the Martindale Brightwood HealthNet is embarrassingly bad at taking care of patients' needs.

It amazing the lack of care and concern I received from the in house nurse ( as she explained while depreciating the value of the nurses who answer the phone) while Dr. Melissa is out.
I have documented all names and plan on escalating my experience.

It is the worse thing to live with any illness. The last thing I expect to encounter are nurses who lack empathy at a doctors office.

Kristen Bell is the worst physician I have ever experienced. I would never recommend her to anyone, even my worst enemy. She kicked out a patient, yelled at them, and accused them of having COVID-19, even though that patient was completely honest about their symptoms to everyone who asked. The patient needed to be seen for another illness, but because they had a couple of the most generic COVID-19 symptoms Bell discovered that and they were forced to leave the office without being helped. She also refused to see the same patient when the office staff made the mistake of assigning them to each other on a separate day. Her attitude and demeanor is the horrible. She has no bedside manners. She is extremely aggressive and rushes patients through appointments.

My husband and I have been patients here for several years. I would not go anywhere else. We have always gotten top-notch service. Sometimes you have to wait on the phone for someone, but that’s to be expected during these times. We trust our Doctor and nurses 100%. And staff has always been very friendly.!!
