This hospital is terrible. Went to the ER for possible appendicitis. Waited for over an hour in the waiting room and then finally seen. After about a half hour they came to draw blood and then no one came for over an hour after that. They went to every room around us. Once the doctor came to check in he made it as if coming to see a patient was a chore. He was smug and made us feel like it was pointless that someone came in for stomach pain. The hospital is dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting. People go into ER’s looking for compassion and all you get here is people who clearly have better things to do than their jobs.

I went there because I had chest pain. They admitted and since there was no bed, they put me in the hallway. I was supposed to get blood drawn and a completely kept me, and the only reason I know is because I overheard the conversation the nurse that attended me was rude told me what I wanted to do so I told her I wanted to leave, she proceeded to get the paperwork ready and with Home told me good luck and send me off my way without even trying to help that is trash. The nurse that attended me was terrible. Next time I get chest pain, I would rather just stay home and deal with the pain then to go to that hospital ever again, the quality of care that you’ll receive if any is terrible I will not be going back to the hospital ever again, thank you. holy family for doing absolutely nothing to help me.

PLEASE SAVE THIS HOSPITAL FROM BEING CLOSED. This is the only hospital where you can be seen and released within a reasonable time frame. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have had harrowing experiences at other hospitals. Never this one. I do wish they’d clean up the waiting room a little though.

Recent visit ER one nurse was extremely nice, this hospital needs more funding to be able to comply with amount of patients that come through here for just one doctor alone. The appearance of the rooms and waiting are can have a better appearance, it’s very depressing. Governor let’s give this hospital some funding to make improvements by beginning of 2025. They can use the help.

My daughter was at Haverhill facility for over 16 hrs. In that time not 1 nurse followed up with her, she did not receive any of her tests results, and they neglected to elevate her leg she had surgery on 4 days prior. Spoke with a supervisor (Madison) who said she would talk to her....never did. The place really needs to be shut down. The lack of care they give some of the patients is ridiculous.

STAY AWAY! Walked in with my 8 month old son very sick. The wait room was empty. They left us 2 hours sitting there waiting with the baby crying in pain. Front desks completely unprofessional talking between them about their work shift and buying shoes online, yes you can see the screen reflection, and paying zero attention to us. After 2 hours we stepped out and when to afc care well, which was full and they saw my son within 15 minutes. That emergency room is horrible! Stay away

I was seen at holy family today by a PA named Kurt and had the worst experience. I was in noticeable discomfort and distress; and he treated me with little to no compassion or respect. He demeaned me and made me feel dramatic. He additionally spoke to me as if i knew nothing about my body. This is not the first poor experience i’ve had at holy family, as i was sent home with an ovarian cyst years ago and had to go back when it ruptured the same evening. I recommend any other hospital over this facility.

I paid a visit to the ER after sustaining an injury to my right arm. The woman checking me in was very kind and helpful, however when I passed through those doors to enter the ER things took a turn. After explaining how I injured my arm the lady nurse started talking in a condenseding manor to me. "You really hurt your self doing that?" And carried on talking to me in a belittling manor. I got the x-rays and then sat in the ER for 45 minutes and witnessed how the nurses( not all but majority of them) seemed to wind up the patients talking down to them with an attitude. They seem to hate there job and take some kind of pleasure in making patients upset to create drama. I would very much recommend there be an internal investigation because I will never go back to.this ER with grown women acting like children pushing people's buttons for their own entertainment.
