The Home care assistance was a life saver. I am so grateful I found Katy and her team. They helped me out when mom suddenly needed home care. The entire team was very professional and compassionate , and got the job done . They even worked with us with last minute help for overnight. Absolutely amazing company. We are so thankful for the care for my father and love we received from each of the caregivers and staff. My father passed in December and we would not have been able to spend the time with him that we did without Home Care Assistance. My father in law lives alone in Auburn and was recently discharged from rehab after a fall. With my family living in Birmingham, it was a challenge to help him get the appropriate care lined up for his return home. The staff at Home Care Assistance helped guide us in the right direction and provided him with wonderful caregivers that have been attentive to his every need. The ladies help him with his shower, cook his meals, keep the house picked up and even drive him to the grocery store and to appointments. He has grown very fond of them. We were fortunate to find such a good, caring company to take care of my mother-in-law. They started out 8 hours a day and when the time came transferred to alternating 4 days live in 2 days round the clock shifts.

We got to visit before she passed and were able to meet Katie and Amanda. I cannot say enough good things about them! They did everything they could to accommodate her needs as well as ours.
