I have found myself in the ER at J.C.L. Med. Center twice now. I have had very positive experiences on both visits. The staff was very professional, Doctors were very capable, informative, polite and accessible. The nurses are very nice, quick to tend to my needs and really the people responsible for insuring that the whole experience goes well.
I am grateful for the care I received there.

My husband was transferred from Prasada to John C Lincoln. I am a little disappointed JCL was closest option since we live in north surprise. However, we received exceptional care and that made it worth while. Everyone from the surgeons to the nurses were fantastic. There was a medical student that was amazing. He made my husband feel comfortable and he was so friendly. I can’t remember his name unfortunately. I do know he will be an amazing doctor once he finishes up. We were on the 6th floor and had a decent experience. The shared rooms are terrible and that needs to be fixed. My husband was moved three times post surgery to different rooms because of combative roommate situation and a smelly roommate situation. 3rd time was the charm and we did well the next few days. Claire and Mark were amazing. I’m so grateful to them and the wonderful care that they provided. They are amazing nurses and I hope they know they make a difference.

When the chief medical officer has to be in attendance of a routine operation because the doctor they employ there ignored a patient’s symptoms to the point where he sent him into ACUTE KIDNEY FAILURE …AND when you have the urologist on recorded tape ADMITTING negligence and for withholding informed consent… AND now you have $300,000 plus worth of bills because the insurance company denied it completely because of the way the IDIOT doctor wrote his notes (incorrectly… ) I say avoid this hospital at all costs… I should have taken my husband out of this hospital and into another… God I wish I had !!!

I strongly advise people to go to another hospital- JCL is a joke! They have nurses in ODU who don’t do anything except sit at the nurses station their entire time focused on other activities- not patients and go out of the scope of their practice. Additionally, concerns were ignored by the supervisor of this nurse’s activities as well as another nurse who was dangerously handling patients. I can’t imagine what goes on behind the scenes if this is the stuff they can get away with in front of the patients.

Triage nurse name Andy was very rude and lacked compassion for patients I couldn't even get a pillow for my dad and there was patients on the floor with blankets and there was a patient threatening to shoot his rifle and take out 21 bodies no security was enforced on him but I was threatened that I was going to have to leave if I didn't change my tone all because i wanted a pillow for my dads back pain who recently got surgery here The main hospital I cannot complain they were vary attentive and caring! But the emergency room is horrible I was told I was violating HIPPA for asking how long patients had been waiting I wasn't asking there medical condition I simply wanted to know an estimated wait time!

I went to the emergency room with a family member and had a great experience with all of the staff members and the doctor. The nurses were fantastic. We were seen very quickly and the hospital worked with us on lowering our bill. I'm very grateful to Honor Health for their help during a stressful time.

This happened years probably in 1999 I used to go here always I never had no complain. I love this hospital until one night. I needed to go to the hospital for an emergency. I never forget that night. It was the worst Night of my life when I got there, there this one nurse if you could call her nurse she must’ve had a bad date with her family her husband somebody she started treating me wrong for no reason and I was so sick when you feel like that you don’t feel like arguing you don’t feel like getting upset when you and so much pain, you crying for help that one Woman when the nurse in the back came for me I don’t know what she was telling her About me probably that I was acting bad? I don’t remember her name, but I remember her ugly face. She has all this freckles all over her face. I’m sorry what I’m gonna say. I describe her a woman from hell she took me to the bank, and believe me Ithought I was in hell she Star treating me so bad. She got my hands and poke me all over my hands, supposedly she was trying to put the IV on me and she poked me all over my hands. She was not even looking for veins She was just poking me like crazy. I don’t know how many times she poked me. I was bleeding all over my hands she Even poke me all my fingers between my fingers. Imagine somebody poking you with a big needle between your fingers. I never gonna forget that night. after she got tired, torturing me, she left This little nice lady came in to the room and she say what happened to you when she saw me bleeding from my hands she started cleaning me right away. She put the IV on me When I left the hospital, five days after I call Supposedly, I talked to one of the managers of the hospital and I tell him what happened to me.
Thanks to her. I never been back into the hospital again, even if I had to travel miles away to go to another hospital and no matter how sick I am I don’t wanna go back into that hospital again not after all the pain and torture I never go back

I wish I had the words to describe the awful, horrible experience at JCL. My 78 year old father has been shuttled around to different floors with promises of a transfer to skilled nursing. This has been going on for 2 weeks. The case managers must be the dumbest people to ever take on the job. If you value your loved one - don’t go to this hospital.
