What a breath of fresh air!

Dr. Torregosa is the first MD I've seen at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health who truly seems to know what she's doing. She took the time to thoroughly address concerns I've been dealing with for five years—issues that no other doctor at VMFH has been able to help with. She ordered a comprehensive set of labs and provided simple, clear explanations for what might be causing my symptoms.

Dr. Torregosa is thorough, kind, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. I left my appointment feeling hopeful and reassured for the first time in years. I’m so grateful she was willing to see me.

I’ve seen Dr Torregosa 2 times now and she was worth the wait. She really studied my issues and explained things well. I did not feel rushed like I do with most specialists. She cares and wants to figure out the why. I wish more doctors did that.

Edit: I really really like Dr. Torregosa but her office staff leaves much to be desired. Dr. Torregosa is diligent about returning emails and staying up to date with me. She is an efficient and responsive doctor. Giving 4 stars because of her. So unsatisfied with this office. First it took 3 tries for them to send a prescription to the correct pharmacy and now waiting for a call from the nurse all day yesterday and now 1:30 today. no call. I just called back and reception told me to try emailing the doctor. argh. very poor service.

I love Dr. Torregosa and her staff! They listen to what I have to say, answer all my questions, talk with me about pumps, CGMs and other equipment that will help take care of my Type I Diabetes, as well as explaining any new issues or concerns I should be aware about. Dr. Torregosa is very thorough in her exams, questions, and providing information. I feel like I am being HEARD rather than any of my comments being dismissed or ignored! She also seems to have more of a holistic approach in taking care of me as her patient rather than just treating the disease. I appreciate her and her staff and am glad there is such a caring, professional, well-educated Endocrinologist closer to home!

Vanessa rejected my husband's prescriptions repeatedly. We thought it was the Doctor. The Doctor said that she (herself) wouldn't have done that and that it isn't Vanessa's call to do that. Now all of the messages Vanessa sent rejecting the medication requests are gone from the Patient Portal. I was just getting ready to print them. Sneaky and fraudulent. I'm making some phone calls. I doubt she can get away with deleting them permanently.

* I found one she forgot to delete! Printing it and faxing it to CHI
