Literally the sweetest staff! Everyone at this clinic is so kind, helpful, and genuinely encouraging. They take the time to answer all your questions, explain things clearly, and really support you every step of the way. You can tell they’re knowledgeable and truly care about your progress. I’ve felt comfortable, motivated, and well taken care of since day one. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for over 10 years, and my respect for him as a physician remains strong. He provided exceptional care during a high-risk pregnancy and delivered my youngest son. I first met Dr. Harris as an employee, and what stood out then—and for many years after—was that his practice offered a safe, welcoming space for African American patients. He was one of the few Black OB/GYNs in the area, and that representation truly mattered. His family has always been kind, and I remain grateful for the care he’s provided over the years.

However, I feel compelled to speak to an ongoing issue that has never improved: the experience with front office staff, particularly Leah. Over the course of more than a decade, I have found her to be consistently dismissive, condescending, and difficult to work with when trying to schedule appointments. Even when I’ve gone out of my way to be flexible or clarify availability with Dr. Harris directly, communication through the front desk has remained a challenge.

Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the office has changed significantly. There is no longer visible representation of Black professionals in clinical or administrative roles, which is disheartening considering many patients—myself included—initially chose this practice because of its cultural competency and diversity. While I understand that Dr. Harris’s professional focus may have shifted over time, the lack of representation and the continued poor front-desk experience reflect a disappointing shift in the values this practice once appeared to uphold.

As a result, I will be transferring my care elsewhere. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as many long-term patients have valued not just the medical expertise, but the inclusive and respectful environment that once defined this office.

I was going here for a while. I showed good progress for a while. One month I came in and didn’t hit the 5percent of weight loss and they told me they couldn’t see me any longer.. completely ridiculous considering they claim the care about their patients! Haha yeah right!! The Doctor I’m with now said a patient and understanding.. I’m also down 65lbs .. and my Doctor takes INSURANCE.. I was always suspicious of this place because they wouldn’t except insurance!!! Don’t go here!!

I’ve had two appointments here for adipx’s for weight loss. I’ve met with both providers and really like them both. They answer any questions I have and are both very nice. The front office staff is friendly and great to work with as well. So far I haven’t met anyone there I don’t like!

I am so thankful for the knowledgeable staff at Horizon. Not only I have been successful with my weight loss. After sharing my concerns of feeling exhausted all the time, I was recommended to try NAD+ and I absolutely feel the difference and love how I feel.

Everyone is always very friendly. But always a long wait, which also puts staff in a hurry. They will stay with you to answer questions if needed, though.

They need to be up front on the costs regarding their programs. I waited 45 minutes to be seen with a $50 co-pay and I get back there for her to say that their program is $170 to start and then $140 A WEEK. This information needs to be conveyed BEFORE the appointment. I could’ve saved my money AND TIME. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I literally paid them $50 to sit in their waiting room. They don’t tell you this information up front because people wouldn’t come.

Wow, what can I say! The staff at Horizons Weight Loss is fantastic! They are so friendly and supportive. I would like to give a special shout out to Raven. She takes the time to listen and understands the challenges of losing weight. Her positive attitude really helps keep you focused on your goals. With the support of her and the staff I have lost over 35 pounds and feel great. I cannot say thanks enough for their assistance and support!
