I met Dr. Walker when I was hospitalized in the ICU. She had studied the scans and tests thoroughly before talking with me. She explained the situation clearly and easily understood and outlined her recommendations for follow-up. The staff at the Heart Center was friendly and helpful. After an exam and update, the nurse practitioner made sure that appointments were made before I left.

Very attentive to my questions and finding a solution to my heart trouble. Very knowledgeable about what I'm experiencing and knew exactly what I needed and explained everything very well. Very thorough and even though I don't like going to the doctor my experience went well.

We didn’t see a dr..nurse practitioner I believe my brother is patient there this is his 1st follow up in a year he has AFIB at 80 yrs old nothing was prescribed he had very low heart rate because of one of his medications they gave him ekg it was good so they sent him home..the home health nurse paid a visit and told us to hold off that medicine his heart rate was in 40s
she asked what Dr or nurse practitioner say about it and what to do I told her nothing we are not pleased with this visit he will not go back unless he can be seen by a real dr.

Dr Walker is among the very best. Always takes the time to listen and respond to concerns. Doesn’t just try to throw another pill at you, but really wants to help you resolve your issues. The office staff is friendly and helpful as well. They have an extremely efficient and effective routine to get you seen and out the door all without feeling rushed.

I've been seeing Dr. Walker and her NP for a few months now and they are amazing. The only issue is the wait time, once I'm called back it normally takes about an hr before I see the NP, but I dont plan anything for the day I go just in case. But the care is top notch and they are very thorough in checking everything. I highly recommend them.
