Dr. Shlifer is my absolute favorite Doctor I've ever seen. The time and care he took with me was unlike any other Doctor I've ever seen. He's extremely nice and helped me in so much more than my previous Doctor in just a few visits. I haven't been back in a bit because my insurance changed but I would rather pay out of pocket to see him again, it would be more than worth it.

I went to see Dr. Gary Shlifer after a friend recommended him. I had developed very bad congestion, and after seeing an ENT doctor, I wasn't convinced that they had correctly diagnosed the problem and wanted a second opinion from a primary care physician. I've never really had a primary care doctor and had no idea what to expect. When I called to schedule the appointment at his office in Woodland Hills, the office receptionist was very nice and accommodating. Upon arriving at the office, I felt very at ease by the entire vibe, and the staff was more than welcoming.

I was seen within minutes of filling out the required forms (a rarity in most medical offices), and my experience with Dr. Shlifer was fantastic. In our meeting, not only was he timely, but he seemed eager to get to the bottom of what was ailing me; I didn't feel like I was just another patient - Dr. Shlifer really took the time to get to know me and my medical history, and I felt very comfortable in the way he communicated throughout the exam. I will definitely be going to see Dr. Shlifer as my primary care physician going forward and would recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough and comfortable experience.

I chose Dr. Gary solely off of these reviews. To me, a person's experience means more than what a company writes on a website. One of the most important things to me as a patient is knowing my Dr. has MY best interest. Dr. Gary values very much what his patients think and how they feel. This is our health, and we depend on our Dr.s. Many times, these reviews are all someone has that represent them until they have had the opportunity to meet you, so what these reviews say can truly make or break a business. It takes either a really great experience or a really bad experience for me to take the time to write a review. Dr. Gary genuinely values his patients. So much that when I had an insurance issue, something 100% out of his control, he took the time out of his day (mid day=busiest time of the day) to personally call me and explain the situation. I will admit I was incredibly frustrated at the insurance situation, however getting a call from Dr. Gary made me realize that he respects my feelings as a patient so much that he would apologize for the insurance/Regal issue. Even when I continued to express my frustration, he listened to me and addressed every single thing I said. I have never had a Dr. that would pick up the phone and call me to help resolve a situation that is out of his control. Every dr. prior to him has always had his office handle things like this. I completely appreciate his efforts to rectify the situation. Many businesses value and depend on these reviews; it's all they have as a first impression. Many businesses also don't value these reviews because they don't value their patients' experiences. Dr. Gary DOES value how his patients feel he and values how his office is doing, and he does everything he can to ensure we, as patients, are getting the utmost respect and care possible. I recently moved about an hour away from the office but have decided to continue getting my medical care from Dr. Gary because to me, having a Dr. who truly values me as a person, is more important than finding a mediocre Dr. that is close to my home. It isn't easy to find this type of care these days. I can confidently say you are in very good hands with Dr. Gary.

Clean, modern office with very friendly staff. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment which is really nice considering you usually do in a doctor's office. Dr. Shlifer is kind and very knowledgeable. Their office also offers IV vitamin drips at pretty good prices. I've been hearing good things about it so I'll be back to try it.

Everyone is so kind and patient from the receptionists to Dr. Shlifer himself. I came to him after going to my Dr. for a few years now. He's a great doctor but I feel that he never had time for me and it progressively got worse to the point I felt invisible during my own check up. Dr. Shlifer makes you feel the exact opposite. He is kind, patient, funny, and honest. I'm so happy I found them, they truly are life savers!!
