If you like mediocre service, then you may like Dr. Gull. I scheduled an appointment online base on the availability shown. On the day of the appointment, I received a call telling me no one would be in the office. I had to reschedule. Although my appointment was with Dr. Gull, I was seen by a nurse practitioner. I don't mind seeing a nurse practitioner, however I like to make that choice and not have it forced on me. I should be told in advance.
Secondly, the office is dingy and depressing, and is a true reflection of the professional service I received. I went in for a physical and untreated hypertension (155/102 reading at the time of my visit). I also informed her that two days prior to the visit, I experienced severe chest pain.She showed little to no concern for my condition. She told me there was nothing she cold do until she received results form my blood work. I scheduled the blood tests immediately, and two days later, I received a call from a receptionist telling me my blood work is fine, and I don't have to return to the office. I was absolutely shocked that a licensed medical practitioner in the United States would be so incompetent. My PCP moved out of state, hence my going to see Dr. Gull. She would never
allowed me to walk out of her office without a plan to address my condition which would certainly include a follow-up visit. It's been more that two weeks since my appointment, and I have had no other contact with Dr. Gull's office. My visit was an absolute waste of time and resource. In summary, I believe there are too many competent PCPs in the Humble area for anyone to settle for such mediocrity.

My experience with Dr. Gull and her staff has never been less than stellar. She is one of the most caring providers I have met, to date. She takes the time to actually listen and attempt to work with you to improve your health. Her staff have been friendly and helpful. Priscilla is always on top of it when I am working with her. I think Dr. Gull and her office BOTH deserve 5 stars!

Simply put, Dr. Humara Gull (and I use the term doctor loosely) is an incompetent QUACK. I usually do not write reviews but my experience this past week with this so called "doctor" warrants one. My visit was a complete waste of time. I came in for some antibiotics for a lingering cough I had and explained to her that I have been diagnosed with bronchitis a few times before by other doctors. However, since listening to patients is NOT one of her strong suits, she proceeds to tell me that I need to have an EKG (which was performed in office), my heart rate was low, and that I needed to go to an emergency room or urgent care to get a complete work up. She refused to listen to my explanation of the symptoms that I was having and already made up in her mind to not treat me for what I originally came in for. After one hour and a half later she still refused to prescribe me antibiotics but could not give me a good reason why. Maybe she is not used to dealing with people who actually ask questions and objects her ridiculous ideas, but she met her match that day. She also kept mentioning something about lawsuits which tells me that she is only concerned about protecting herself even if that means denying patients the right to medications. This QUACK is a liar, dishonest, and is not fit to be a doctor. I'm not sure if my experience with her was based on her being extremely incompetent or race related but I wouldn't even recommend her to my worst enemy. And that alone says a lot. If you are ok with wasting your time and money and not being heard or taken seriously by a physician...by all means this is the QUACK for you. Otherwise, stay clear from her and her practice.

When I first Dr Gull she was on Westlake houston and now she is on Makay Dr. My first experience was great but ever since then it has been the worst I have ever seen. I have schedule on 3 different occasions in the last couple of times and each 1 of the times they have called me and change my appointment. I made my appointment on line which it told me she has a availability at 9 am. Then I get a voicemail saying they need to change it because Dr Gull is not available and her nurse practitioner is not available until 2 pm. Then I get a text message and a email confirming my appointment for 9 am. When I call to verify my appointment I'm told when i make an appointment online it's not confirmed that is a 3rd party that I'm making the appointment with. I do not understand why they have this service if clearly it does not work for them. This Dr office need to difently need to get rid of the girl to the front desk. She is the WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER. I will not EVER go back here. So please do not waste your time and effort at this Dr office.

I'm so disappointed with my experience with Dr. Gull's nurse practitioner. I showed up to my appointment with all of my past lab results and a list of symptoms I've experienced since being put on a particular medication. The first thing the NP stated was she was going to increase the medication. After asking for an explanation it was clear she did not read through any of the documentation I showed up with. She ordered a fresh round of labs in order to consider changing my medication, which I completed in less than 12 hours since I feel horrible. A phone call was promised when the lab results were completed. I received a copy from the lab provider 7 days ago and not a single phone call or message from this office. I am now hunting for a quality doctor in my new neighborhood.

My initial visit with this clinic was actually quite pleasant. However, my second time dealing with the staff was an absolute nightmare. I have really bad psoriasis on my head and I've had a medication I've been using to treat it for years. I told the receptionist on numerous occasions that it was a foam I needed but they ended up filling out a script for the cream instead. To make matters worse, when I called the office to see if I could get this fixed, they seemed very unapologetic. They had informed me that the doctors were not at the office and told me there was nothing they could do. On top of all that, PRISCILLA, had the audacity to hang up on me when I simply asked if they could contact me and let me know when the doctor was in so I could get this situation fixed. I am appalled by this behavior from someone who is supposed to be getting paid to have basic people skills. This is the last time I will be giving my business to the clinic.

Dr. Gull and her staff are so friendly. I always feel like they listen and are working for my best health. Appointments are easy to make and often I can be seen quickly. Highly recommend this office for your healthcare needs
