My experience at the Jackson house was phenomenal. I came in a lost and broken soul. I was very scared when I first came in didn't know what to expect. Miss Vicky check me in and immediately started feeling safe. It took a day or two for me to get acclimated to my environment, but after that everyday I started feel a little bit more confident in myself. While I was here I made several breakthroughs that made a lot of sense and helped me realize where my troubles were. Miss n e w k i s h, Miss Belinda, and Miss Vicky, really made a impact in my life. I am very grateful to them for showing me the way. I can't say enough about all the staff at Jackson house you guys save my life, and I will be forever grateful to you guys. I am now leaving the Jackson house with confidence and self love. That is something I did not have for a many years. Miss Caroline also help me through my journey and gave me confidence that I was going to be okay. Once again I thank all the staff at the Jackson house, you have a special spot in my heart and I thank you very much.

Living situation is awesome and most definitely comfortable. All staff act professionally. Overall my stay was great, food is good and always on time. Health commendations are made sure to be met if necessary. Everything went well during my stay.

The experience that was had with Jackson House was extremely positive. They have a very empathetic and accessible staff there who can help individuals intensively with inpatient treatment that suffer from anxiety/depression to those dealing with substance abuse in individual and group counseling sessions. Jackson House is able to set up admittance quickly and efficiently, provide great information about the process ahead, and then be able to assist in making health care transitions easy and painless in preparation for next steps. Besides their assistance in logistics, they are very committed to make sure a client has stabilized next steps before they move one forward to a more outpatient facility. Jackson House seems to have a good understanding of how best to help its population and really able to provide a top notch experience for anyone involved in challenging times. I cannot recommend Jackson House in La Mesa enough. After being to numerous treatment centers, I can confidently say this one stands out in every possible way. The staff here are absolutely incredible—extremely knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely dedicated to helping. They go above and beyond to ensure that you feel supported and heard. It’s clear that they love what they do and truly care about each person they treat.

The groups they offer are extremely helpful. They're well-structured and provide real tools that are actually useful in addressing mental health issues. It’s not just theory; it’s actionable advice that makes a real difference. I’ve never experienced a treatment plan so personalized and tailored to my needs.

One thing that really stood out to me is the small number of residents. Everyone here is carefully vetted, which creates a supportive and safe environment. Many of the other residents are well-educated, creative, and caring people. Some have even become lifelong friends. It feels more like a community than a typical treatment center.

Jackson House offers some amazing perks, like allowing cell phones, laptops, gaming devices, and visitors every day, which really helps maintain a sense of normalcy.

The nursing team is unlike any other I've encountered. In most places, getting the right meds is a slow, frustrating process. But at Jackson House, the nursing team is fast, responsive, and attentive. Nurses Vicky and Sophie were absolutely amazing—quick to make adjustments and always there to address any concerns with genuine care. I never felt like I was just another case to them.

The techs here—Izzy, Caitlin, Manny, and Rita—were also fantastic. They are always present and approachable, offering support and creating a welcoming, safe environment. It’s clear they truly care about the residents, and their positive energy makes a huge difference in the experience.

The counseling staff is top-notch. Caroline, Belinda, and Nakesha are extremely skilled and compassionate. They helped me work through my issues with real empathy and provided invaluable insights. Their sessions were impactful and tailored to my specific needs, and they created a space where I felt truly understood.

This is a place where you don't feel like a prisoner or just a patient. You’re treated with respect, and it’s clear that the staff is there because they truly care. I came in expecting another typical treatment center that might help a little, but Jackson House ended up saving my life.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and comforting. The care I received here was not only the best I’ve experienced, but it has given me tools for lasting change.

The team at Jackson House is incredibly attentive and supportive while clients are in treatment. The nursing staff and counselors are always available to assist when needed. The discharge coordinator is great about preparing you for transition when your stay at Jackson House has ended. I was able to accomplish my goal of learning and implementing various coping skills to address my mental health challenges. I would highly recommend this facility to others if their mental health is at risk or they need a break from life to heal.

This location is an excellent starting point for your journey to recovery. The staff members are friendly and easily accessible when assistance is required. The medical professionals and nursing staff create a secure setting and are knowledgeable about medication management, ensuring that patients receive appropriate prescriptions. It is advisable to fully participate in the therapy sessions, as the therapists are exceptional. I highly recommend this facility. It is truly outstanding!

My time at Jackson House was inspiring. The staff and clients helped me find positive growth. Caroline helped lessen my fear of a place to live by finding me a really great house. Vicky helped me see that I had to be honest with myself to grow. Erin was amazing in helping me understand my past did not have to hold me back. Jenica was amazing and helped calm me when I had a terrible case of pneumonia. Eric made 5am coffee fun.
