I have seen Jessita twice now and I have truly been treated like just another chart passing across her desk. She didn’t spend time reviewing my chart prior to either of our appointments and even went so far as to say “nice to meet you” at the end of our second appointment.
Our second appointment began with her stating “just give me one minute” while she logged onto the computer and charted on a previous patient. Once she completed that she said “hello, I see you’re here for a follow up.” But wasn’t clear on what she was following up on.
I know Montage is adding physicians to better accommodate their ever expanding client base but if this is how their new physicians are treating patients, I’d rather wait longer to see someone who would at the very least read my chart before stepping into the room, or quite frankly, at least finish the other patients chart elsewhere before beginning my appointment. I think it’s really important for a patient to feel cared about and she didn’t even bother using information from my chart to make me feel like “her” patient. Even if it’s a lie, simply looking at my employment in my chart, knowing what diagnosis or surgery I’ve had, and saying “nice to see you again” would make me feel better about having Jessica as my physician. Instead she acted shocked when I would rebuttal her comments with my own medical history which is listed on the right hand side of her screen. How hard is it to stroll over and read a few lines? And then to end our appointment with “nice to meet you” even though she’s seen me before. Jessita seems very scattered and as though she wants to outsource all of my care to specialists while providing none of her own. I am very disappointed in my experience with Jessita. I may try to see her again, but most likely will end up switching providers or leave this office all together…
