Appalled by the behavior of the Jordan Healthcare team & staff, including Dr. Jordan herself. She has cared for myself and my family for 7+ years, ended every session with a hug and ā€œI love youā€, told me I remind her of herself, and all of a sudden is ā€œpicking and choosingā€ (words of her own staff) and can kick me out with no notice, no new provider, and no medication refills. Their excuse is they can’t take my insurance, to which Dr Jordan pretended to be devastated about (cue the fake tears at my last visit), however since talking to my insurance and my secondary insurance and finding out they never had any issue covering (in fact she’s been billing them this entire time), it’s fairly clear that she just didn’t want to be my primary care physician anymore. Dr. Jordan has yet to respond to me herself. Truth hurts but would’ve saved me a lot of investigating time. Couldn’t believe the things I found about her on the internet. I am currently being pushed by my insurance and other providers to go to the media in order to protect other patients. I have voice recordings of the things her staff said to me over the phone and honestly maybe the public should hear who they are actually getting care from.

I've waited a year for an appointment to be called and cancelled because they're switching to a monthly subscription rather than using the insurance we currently already pay for. While I appreciate how this may benefit your practice, it is terrible news for those who respect your services. This does not benefit a varied community. This is only beneficial to those who can afford to pay an additional $300 each month for membership fees. How do you justify charging patients $300 for 6 months = $1800.00 when we’re seen for typically less than 1 hour and more than likely once a year.

I could not be more disappointed. Dr. Jordan has decided to no longer service patients that have healthcare, and to provide a subscription service instead. For a married couple, it is $500/month. Unfortunately this is not health care that I can afford or would need. I have slowly built a trust in Dr. Jordan over the last couple of years, and this is crushing. It is so difficult to find a primary care provider that is accepting new patients, and even harder to find one that you trust and like. While I understand this is likely a lucrative situation for Dr. Jordan and her office…I can only imagine that it will be leaving most of her patients in the lurch. With the current cost of living and how many people are struggling financially…this feels very tone deaf.

EDIT 06/23/24
It is clear that Dr. Jordan, or people from her staff or family friends or something…is concerned about the recent influx of 1 star reviews. There are a handful of very suspicious positive reviews that stick out like a sore thumb. Perhaps this model would work if people had the option to not carry health insurance, as we are required by law to have health insurance. I imagine that the majority of her patients will find that this healthcare model is not worth it, and is not realistic financially.

I’ve been a patient at the practice for over a year now? Maybe two… And have stayed since they stopped taking insurance.
While I understand that not everyone can afford it, I I wish people would understand Why it was done. I’m super happy with how often/how long I get to see my pcp because of it & getting ahold of them / getting appointments is much easier now too.
I will continue to be a patient there for as long as I can, because truly the service is worth the money!!! I love my pcp and everyone there is incredible. Keep up the good work! -Emily

You have to understand that you still need a Health care insurance like Humana or United Healthcare as well as pay Dr.Jordan's monthly concierge program. If she orders a cat scan or blood work or you become hospitalized, you need that health insurance to cover the costs. Dr. Jordan's program does not pay for anything other than an office visit. So you pay $200.00 a month to Dr. Jordan and see her two times in a year. That means you paid $2400.00 for that year to see your primary twice. You also paid a monthly premium to your insurance company. Maybe if you're rich, you're not worried about money.

Many staff have come and gone in the one year I was a patient. Trying to get anyone to answer the phone was almost impossible. I would leave a message and no one would ever call back. The front desk staff were very rude and condescending. I finally started calling the triage line and leaving messages which once and awhile someone would call me back. There are no MD's or RN's on staff. Not one of the nurse practitioner's have admitting privileges to any of the hospitals. If you are really sick and were at the clinic, you have to go to the ER and start all over again.I happen to have several medical issues that should have been taken care of by
an MD specialist. I now have an MD PCP. With this new Concierge service, I had 10 days left before it started. If you had insurance, Dr.Jordan would not allow you to book an appointment with the clinic. Also, getting medication refills was almost impossible to get filled or refilled. The pharmacy would tell me that they will fax the order but you better call them as well because they are not very efficient in responding to the faxes. I found out that at the end that Jennifer Jordan's sweet loving self was not so sweet or loving. It's all about money. So sad.I was left without a PCP.

Our entire family sees Jen and Jessie and we love them! They take exquisite care of us, from never feeling rushed in the exam room, to getting us in last minute if an urgent need arises. The entire Jordan Healthcare team is clearly patient focused and we are very thankful for their expertise and warmth. The peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re in great hands cannot be overstated, and we feel this way about our primary care providers!!

The staff at Jordan Healthcare Center are some of the kindest I have ever met. They make the experience of going to the doctor as enjoyable as possible. The practice is very trauma-informed and the providers try their best to communicate and meet the needs of their patients. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. If you are looking for a doctor’s office that makes you truly feel welcome and comfortable, this is the place for you.

For you people lamenting the loss of your primary care provider, I feel your pain. I’m in the same situation as you are. Doctor Jordan is one of the best medical providers in the valley. I feel fortunate that she managed my medical care for as many years as she did. It’s going to be a big adjustment going back to the old way of getting my health care. She was a true partner in that journey. I completely understand her motivation to change how she did business. Did you ever look at your EOB statement itemizing the dollar amount the provider charged and what the provider was paid? It’s astounding that any medical practice can pay their rent, overhead, and employee costs at the rates they are being reimbursed. Meanwhile the CEO’s and upper-level management of these insurance agencies and private equity firms are decimating the health care field as we knew it and getting rich while doing so. It’s unfair to blame Doctor Jordan for going into survival mode. Hopefully she has worked out a model of providing healthcare that is more sustainable and ensures that she is able to continue to do what she has a real gift and passion for. I completely understand her reasoning behind all of this. Hell, my carpenter bills more/hour than she does. If you have an animal, you know what Veterinarians are being paid. What about your car mechanic, the plumber who comes to your house? They are all making more per hour than insurance reimbursements pay medical providers. How is that sustainable? I suggest it would be more productive if you direct your disappointment and anger to the people who have caused this health care crisis. Contact your state senators, representatives in congress and demand action for change.
