I have been a patient of Dr. Mazzafera for a couple of years, and I cannot say enough about her empathy, kindness, and ability to truly listen. She takes the time to understand concerns and never makes me feel rushed—if anything, I worry that she spends too much time ensuring her patients feel heard, despite her busy schedule.

One moment that really stood out was when she gave me important feedback about my health. It wasn’t an easy message to hear, but she delivered it with such thoughtfulness and care that I truly appreciated it. Her ability to balance honesty with compassion is a rare and invaluable quality in a doctor.

I was surprised to see any negative reviews because my experience with Dr. Mazzafera has been nothing but exceptional. She genuinely cares about her patients, and her dedication is evident in every visit. If i could I would give zero stars.
I've been Dr. Mazzafera's patient since March 2023 and my interactions with her have not been the best. My physical exams always felt rushed and my concerns that I have due to my health were passed like it was not important. I have a family history of Hyperthyroidism and my blood culture came back elevated, with that she did an ultrasound and saw that my thyroid gland was enlarged, more than normal and I was 23 years old at the time. She did not care for that my thyroid was enlarged and did not pursue more tests or refer to a specialist, nor did she follow up the ultrasound. Another encounter that I had with her was her prescribing me antibiotics without doing correct testing. The antibiotic then caused me to have a UTI that lead me to the hospital when I was on vacation. She did not give referrals to properly diagnosis me, I had to do all the research on my own to find what was wrong with myself.
Overall thoughts is that she's rushed and does not take the time to properly diagnose, and does not follow-up. I've had wonderful PCP in the past which they left Signature Healthcare to continue practicing and I believe I'll have to seek a different PCP to get proper care.
