The nurse told me flu test is free, but it is 555 dollars. I called office twice, but nobody gave me feedback. This place needs to be improved.

I was seen for potential walking pneumonia. Everyone (including the receptionist, medical technician, X-ray technician and especially the PA) were exceptionally professional and competent in their respective positions.
Flow of patients was exceptional and wait time was minimal. The only wait was on the radiologist review at the main hospital, and that was minimal also.
Extra Kudos to the receptionist who assisted an elderly woman who was having difficulty explaining her fall and why she was there.

Pretty obvious why this facility has such a bad rating. The staff are disgusting, they treat patients with contempt. Go to JFK emergency there is never a wait and the staff are kind and compassionate. Today Monday January 3rd, 2022, I experienced a medical emergency in the evening at 7:30 pm. I phoned the Urgent Care Jupiter Medical Center in advance, located in Abacoa at 5430 Military Trail Suite 64 Jupiter, FL 33458. I asked if I could come in urgently for care. The woman who answered said she wasn’t sure, however as there were 2 patients ahead. I said I would come in and try and she said ok. I arrived 5 min later, as I live right there next to the facility. I arrived at 7:40 and the door was locked. They opened the door after I knocked several times, I was told by a woman who identified herself as Myrna Cooper, that they all wanted to leave by 8:00 and refused to take me. She continued to say that they were closed and not accepting patients. I begged for someone to help me and told her that I was the one who had called in advance and she said no, that they had worked a 12 hour day and they couldn’t accept anyone. I asked to speak to the Dr. and they said that they already asked her and she also said no, they would not admit me. I asked for the Dr.’s name and Myrna Cooper said that the Physicians Assistant’s name who refused me also was Briana Minich, PA-C. I begged to speak to her and they said I could not and closed the door. I then called again and spoke to the woman who continued to identify herself as Myrna Cooper. I was very polite and my husband was next to me, we watched through the window as she began laughing at me through the glass as we were on the phone. My husband took a short video her while she berated me and humiliated me. It was clear as she was standing behind her computer monitor however he face was completely exposed. Not once did I raise my voice to her. She hung up on me. I called once more and spoke to Angelo who said that it was unacceptable that the front desk attendant Myrna was laughing. Finally, after Angelo apologized he put me on the phone with Briana Minich, PA-C who still didn’t apologize for Myrna’s bad behavior, in fact she denied it. I will be posting this video on YouTube shortly @JupiterMedCtr The hours are listed everywhere as 8:00 closing time, five people behind me also were confused as to why they couldn’t be seen. I cannot believe that the Medical Director Harry J. Romero, MD, FACEP would consider the way Myrna Cooper treated me as an acceptable treatment of patients. Jupiter Medical Center should be embarrassed to have this person on staff at the front desk representing this institution. I will be making a formal complaint to the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and The Joint Commission Office of Quality and Patient Safety and Amit Rastogi, against both staff members and the institution.

Worst experience I have ever had coming from being a nurse myself. I came I with extreme pain and cursed when I took a step I screamed. Being told Rudely by a tech named Noah that we don’t tolerate that language. I said sorry I am in pain. Only to have Cynthia Brown the nurse practitioner come out to waiting room not even take me on the side and say we will not treat you we don’t tolerate that language you need to go can go to the ER. I suffered back problems for years was not looking for drugs wanted an inflammatory shot. I have used this place before honestly in my oppinion both of these people lack experience, compassion and should not be in the medical . I will be contacting the administrator of Jupiter Medical they discriminated me because I was in pain and did not use the proper language. So as I walked out I told them to “ go F themselves as I was crying and hurting I Do not recommend this place at all. I used the ER and wrote beautiful recommendations about the doctor and nurses. I would normally not write this but honestly something needs to be done.

UPDATE: walked in to MD urgent care just now seen with in 10 min. Excellent nurse practitioner. Even told them my experience at your center they found it to be ridiculous. Highly recommend go to MD urgent care instead

My recent experience here was horrific from start to finish. I broke a bone in my foot and quickly needed x-rays done so I came here a couple weeks ago and the service I got from I guess the nurse who was this short young man in glasses was laughably bad. He was roasting his coworker in front of me and my fiance. I was in a wheelchair at the time, and he pushed me backwards into the room that I would be seen in and I rolled directly into the back wall. When someone came in to tell me that my foot was broken the glasses guy came back eventually and was like OK you’re gonna need crutches do you know how to use them? I told him I’d never use them before and he was like OK fine, it’s very basic. I then had to go to an orthopedic doctor at PBOI & ALL of my images had to be redone, because the people who put the imaging on a CD over at Jupiter Medical Center, urgent care, put the images on the CD in JPEG format… JPEG format! Dicom is standard format for medical imaging (just as a note). And to top it all off, just as the cherry on top, I then had to act as my own personal debt collector, chasing down anyone at Jupiter Medical Center urgent care to see if I owed anything because they hadn’t sent me a bill in the mail and no one would give me a straight answer on if I owed money. The final straw was that I called their office tonight and was told by someone on the phone that they didn’t have time for me because they were busy doing too many other things and that I needed to call at a later date. How about this: I shouldn’t owe you anything because you did an absolutely terrible job, everything your office did do have to be redone and I will never go back, even if I am dying.

I got sent to urgent care because I had headaches for a couple days and I am pregnant. They did a covid test of course which was negative and said my heart rate was slightly high but didn't know why so they sent me to the ER. Went to the ER for them just to tell me I had the flu and it was a $1,800 medical bill WITH insurance after all the test. If only the urgent care would have done a flu test along with the Covid test I would not have a $1,800 ER bill for a couple test. This is very frustrating as they are so quick to do covid test now a days but don't even think to do a flu test along with it.
